A year or so ago I answered a call from this organization (about this time of year) and they wanted donations.  I explained that I was retired and dependent on my social security.  That didn't deter this "gentleman" from insisting that I should donate so****ing and attempting to make me feel guilty.  I finally ***g up, but the calls s****ed a***n and I don't answer.

We have recieved calles from these people before from different numbers and i finally answered the call and thinking back it may be a voice recording anyways i answered and they would ask may i speak to the lady of the house but in my case there isnt and  i said no  and there was a long pause and that was it no response or nothing so there going on the do not call list cause its obvious that this is fake

Male caller asked for the lady of the house. When I asked who was calling, he told me he was representing police officers and families who have lost members who were police officers. He asked for a donation of $10.00 or more. I had agreed to make a $10.00 donation, but before I gave my information, I asked why was he asking for the lady of the house when he called. He pretended that he couldn't understand what I was saying and said he needed to adjust his phone. He then continued to ask for my information. When I asked the question a***n, there was silence on the other end, so I ***g up. The caller didn't call back.

Donate for what, they don’t ever do anything for us except make our lives tough and they’re never around when you need them, just a bunch of scammers and crooks.

strange that the person who called asked for 'the lady of the house'.  what kind of tactic is That?  why not ask for 'the man of the house'?  TX FOP Does exist, although from the information i gathered at the web site, they would have first sent a letter to solicit funds.

I got so many calls from the so-called FOP because my wife actually donate some money to this ****, big mistake. It is really annoying. Fortunately now I am using VOIP and can block all the annoying calls.

Just tried to find their 800 number to call and tell them to back off, none listed.

I'm on Nat'l Do Not Call List, but it makes no difference to these clowns.  They continue to call, although I've repeatedly told them I'm on the Don't Call List.   Will file another complaint, and will call them several times (on their 800 number) to tell them not to call anymore.   Dubious that it'll help!   However, I'd rather the Gov't spent their money on supporting the troops on the ground in Iraq/Afghanistan than dedicate a great deal of time & money on this trivia...   (albeit annoying trivia!)

Son (adult) answered phone, caller asked for me, would not say who he was or who he was with, just that he would call back later.... must be a scam!

Saw the name on the caller id and did not answer. Have had many calls over the years claiming to represent peace officers. One woman a couple of years ago got very mad on the phone because I would not agree with her and would not agree to donate.  I kind of thought that she might be legitimate. I limit my giving to local charities that I recognize.

calls made fro this number are a scam sayin they are the fraternal order of police.  there is no such place

This call has recently s****ed and no name or id ever shows on caller id.The only thing is the number 469 718 0642.I tried to answer, and tried to let it go to message board. No message(s) left.

I keep getting phone calls from that number.
