SCAM ARTISTS - I can't believe people still fall for this stuff. Now that the internet has been around for, oh lets say 15 years... People who fall for this stuff deserve everything they get in life being that they are walking around with their heads in their ****s.

I got the same text from "compass" and have no account...

Spam Fishing for info, I have no Compass bank account to deactivate

We received the deactivated account text message -- two problems: 1) We don't have an account with that bank and 2) Even the bank doesn't have a 24-Hour phone line -- it asks you to call during business hours (M-F). Idiot spammer for not even checking if the actual bank has an actual 24-hour line.

I received the same text message from BBVA Compass Bank saying my account has been deactivated and to call this number to reactivate. I called back on my house phone / land line and got an intercept tone. My guess it is some sort of scam.

I just received a text from this number telling me my Compass Bank card has been temporarily deactivated. I will reporting it to Law enforcement. I don't have any accounts with that bank.
