Called today and acted like I had a merchant account with them. Asked a couple of pointed questions. Was probably dealing with a newbie since they didn't have an 'answer'. Totally unsolicited. Another outfit that flagrantly ignores the 'do-not-call' list. I would probably vote someone running as a single issue candidate of prosecuting 'do-not-call-list' violators ( and splitting the fines with me :)Caller ID just says Tempe, AZ.
I received a call from this number and the lady said she was from Capital Processing. She has called and talked with me a couple of times and I have told her repeatedly to not send over a representative to check my rates. She called me last week and said that we talked about a month ago and I had told her to call me back to set up a time to send someone out. I told her then I wasn't interested. So, she called back a***n today and gave me the same line, that I had talked with her a month ago, and so on. I told her a***n to please not send anyone out here and she said she wouldn't do that. She said she was not a company trying to sell me anything, it was just to inform us of our wholesale rate and to go over the cost differences. I informed her that I talked with her last week and asked her to not send anyone out, and to please take me off the call list. She said they don't have a call list, which was funny seeing as how she has to have so****ing to go off of to call companies. I said fine, then stop calling me, as I'm not interested in doing business with her. She got very unprofessional with me and I told her to not call me back a***n, thank you, and then ***g up. If you get a call from this company you should report any poor business selling practices with the Better Business Bureau as they have an account with them.

Andrew from Capitol Processing Network (480/285-2075) called our receptionist repeatedly asking to talk to the ower and refused to talk to me (the company treasurer) regarding merchant processing. She finally sent him to the ower's voice mail and I returned the call. He claimed he had reviewed our mercant account records from our bank and we qualified for better rates because we'd reached the wholesale level. I asked to see a statment of their charges and fees, and he said that those could only be given out by a senior sales rep. He wanted to make an appointment for the rep to meet with me, but I told him I wanted to see their rates before setting up an appointment. I asked several other questions, which he evaded--only the rep could provide the information. I told him he was making it too difficult to deal with his company and to take me off the call list. He replied that I was the one being difficult, so I ***g up. He actually called me back and s****ed arguing--I told him a***n to take me off the call list and ***g up.I'm actually looking for a less expensive processing company, and all the top rated ones publish their fees on the web site. Their site is glossy--but no fees anywhere in site! I expect they are legit, but a lot higher than their compe***ion.
Got a call from 480-285-2063, asking to speak with my partner. I said he is not available, and asked if he wanted to leave a message. He said it was regarding my partner's merchant account. I said my partner does not have a merchant account. The guy acted all innocent and said, "he doesn't have a merchant account?". I said, he's in the process of getting one right now, so he does not need your services, please take our phone number off your list. This donkey actually had the nerve to tell me that he was not selling any services AND that he had just talked to my partner about a merchant account. I asked him when he talked to my partner, and he claimed he had talked to him earlier today. This ******* called our home phone, and my partner has not been home all day. I asked what number this guy reached my partner at, and he said, "the number he gave me". I said, "and what number was that?". And the donkey came back with, "well, isn't this his business number?". Wrong answer, and you're a Liar. I told him a***n to take our number off his list, and that we don't need any services he is selling. He s****ed raising his voice at me, yelling that he was not selling any services. I just ***g up at that point.How ****** do these people think we are? What idiot would ever get a merchant account with a company who so blatantly and obviously condones dishonesty in sales?
# 480-285-2042 Nick called me at work, asked for me by first name. Stated that there was a "flag" on my "business account" and it was urgent he speak to me. Bu***hit.Receptionist was new, forwarded the call to me. When asked, he didn't know my last name or job ***le. His first words were "I', not trying to sell you anything". When I explained that was good, as I had no idea who he was and ***g up, he called back repeatedly. I instructed our receptionist to get his number and I would call him back later.I called back this afternoon. He s****ed a***n with "...not selling anything". I asked him his name, the company name he represented and what it concerned and couldn't get a straight answer. I finally told him that I was NOT the person to whom he needed to speak concerning any financial matters, I neither owned the business nor was in the accounting department (I am our government sales liaison) he stated for the final time that he offered a service but wasn't selling...etc. For the fourth and final time, I ***g up on him.

Similar to what has already been reported here.... not telemarketing, yet wanted to send his representative out because had better deal on merchant account.. said I had to go mail me so****ing.. couldnt he said and keep pressing... said I might qualify and earned a higher rate. ****ed me off.. said I dont have to earn anything for and finally ***g up and had to go... meanwhile he leaves a messge and says I was unprofessional so is going to disqualify me from the better rate.. but.. I can call him back and he might reconsider.. These guys must be mafia or awfully desparate.. no wonder our credit system is so messed up

They called my workplace and asked to speak to the owner about the merchant account. He said that the account was "under review" and that it was urgent he speak with him. He then asked the owner's name. I told him that CLEARLY if he were with merchant services, he would know the owner's name. He then admitted he didn't work for our merchant account service but blah, blah, blah. I told him "no thank you" and ***g up on him. He proceeded to call back several times asking why I'd so rudely ***g up on him. He also told me that he would file a complaint with my owner for my rudeness. I in the meantime had googled the number and was able to read verbatum some of the ****hing comments regarding the telemarketers at his company. They haven't called back since.
Caller ID allows me luxury of not taking their calls, but they continue to call hoping for answer. I have been listed "DO NOT Call" for over six months. Some people just don't get it.
Just to add to the above comments - received a call from Ellen (I believe that was her name in the message) at 480-285-2000 that there seemed to be a problem with my merchant accounts and to call her back right away to straigten them out. What merchant accounts ? I am not a business owner and I have had the number they accessed for over 10 years. Isn't there a way for these pests to distinguish between a business and a residence ?
We have had these people call numerous times mis-representing themselves. My employees who answer the phone are presured by the caller to give merchant ID information and other private business information. We then tell them we are all set and to take us off their list. After we **** up, they call right back and ask why we are asking them to "take us off their list" when they are calling to****ist us with our merchant account not to sell anything. They are very rude and try to intemidate my employees into giving them information. Be careful! This seems like a very shadey company! Make sure to take their personal and business name as well as make note of the phone number so you can report them when they call back after you have them remove you from their list.

I got on phone and caller proceeded to explain that I had reached a "wholesale level" of purchasing and could eliminate the middle man with higher fees on my merchant acct. First I clarified that he was not anyone w/ my merchant account company - then sd. I alrdy had great rates w/ co. I deal with- caller persisted and sd. he could save me money not only on rates but svc fees. I told him that I already negotiated those fees too and that I was not interested, and to have a nice day. We ***g up cordially, but caller was persistant and averted info which underlyingly misrepresents himself - My employee also thought there was a serious billing matter/issue based on what caller said and was therefore able to speak w/ owner. Caller ID said Capital Pro Net, 1-480-285-2000. Caller said he was from "Element" credit card processing. Told him I wasn't interested and ***g up. This rude a**hole then called me back not once but twice!
Yep just got off phone eith them. Element wholesale credit card svc. Talked about my existing acct, I said I don't have one...he was probing me to give info. I ***g up after he kept denying sales call yet wanted to offer me svcs. Idiot.
