Leave a CommentFrequent caller on our "telemarketers phone" which used to be our functional landline phone years ago . We pay for it to be an unlisted phone number! But so how this spammer got it ! Sign of the times
There here a***n
Thanks everyone!
Received a call, but no answer, just a fast busy after waiting to hear so****ing on the other end. Other people have received same call with same results. It's traced to P***nix, AZ and is a cell phone number, but I can't see that being so, since people from all over the USA are getting this.
Lousy service to whomever is paying for the surveys...they call repeatedly asking how I will vote, but the races they offer to select are not those in which we can vote.
I have received quite a number of calls from this number in +2 months, but they neither leave a message, nor do they talk when I answer. It immediately ****s up AFTER I respond.
Talk to Level Three who provides the telecommunication service for this number. I was told it is a political survey by John McCain. If you want it to stop call his head quarters.
Here are contact numbers for Level Three Communications. I have been getting a call from this number every night for the past week. I tried calling back and all it does is ring and ring. I answered once and all I got was dead air and then a **** up. They seem to call every night around 8:30 pm. I will e-mail a complaint.
I filed a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission online. Hopefully this will help to stop these calls. I have tried to contact the Level 3 Communications fraud department, but it sent me to an automated message. Really annoyed!
Caller ID reads :: PUBLIC SURVEY :: With a bit of checking, I found out that this is a Democrat-funded gambit to see if you have liberal political tendencies. Don't bite on these left-wing callers!
I reported the number to the National Do Not Call Registry, so that may help in getting them to stop calling.
800notes.com reports:KAS 19 May 2010I contacted Level 3 Communications (to whom the number is purportedly "assigned"). They did some digging and said it was not their number, but one of their "customers" and could offer no further information. They did, however, suggest I call the Fraud Line 800-348-5457 and report the calls.PWW19 May 2010After trying unsuccessfully to find a local office, I finally got through to Level 3 Communications fraud line (800-348-5457). The man confirmed the number was one of theirs****igned to a client, which whom he refused to disclose. However, he took my number and said he would have client take it off their call list.Caller: Level 3 Communications
Thank you for the email and contact information.
I keep getting several calls daily from this number. It is really annoying, and I sent an email to [email protected]. Hopefully these calls will discontinue.
Agreed, getting multiple calls with only dead air. I suspect some political candidate is paying them "per call" and is being ripped off, just as we are.
Annoying caller no one there called twice today.i tried to call back and got dead air.
I've got the same problem. Would love to know how to stop it.
Calls at least once or twice a day- never leaves a message- when i answer no one is there. This is sooooo annoying.

I keep getting calls from this number. sometimes twice a day. I pick up the receiver and no one is there. I.m getting tired of it. i wish w***ver it is would stop calling me
I answered and it was a political poll. Calls me many times.
***O***** They call 3 times a day!! SO ANNOYING!!!!
This has to stop - I have had 20 such calls from this organization - "Public Survey." I wrote to Level 3. If they sell the service they can fix the problem. Will post results. In the interim collect times and dates - my understanding is that there are civil penalties for failing to stop calling.
I just called 3D (May 14th, 2010) and spoke to someone in the fraud department. I asked what the could do to stop calls. He expained that their company sells phone service to a retailer who in turn sells the phone service to a buyer. He advised me he would call the retailer and ask them to [1] look at the massive number of complaints on the Internet [2] ask that they remove my phone number and [3] determine if the survey company has "s****ed" this phone number. Apparently there is a service available to allow you to hijack a phone number to appear on the caller ID. The owner of that number may not even know that their phone number is being used.
Contact the email at the bottom of my email and state your complaint and tell them to stop contact you immediately.Fraud InvestigationsLevel 3 Communications1025 Eldorado Blvd. Broomfield, CO 80021Toll Free: 800-348-5457Fax: [email protected]
The company is not Level 3... The company that provides the number is Level 3 as they are a provider much like Qwest, AT&T, etc... You need to call your voter registration number and political party number and have them take you off the solicitation for your phone number as this is a questionnaire for some poll coming up.
Calls at least once a day sometimes twice -- never leaves a message -- dead air and then fast busy. When trying to call the number back, the same thing happens, dead air and then fast busy. This person is a nuisance.
I keep getting calls from this number, the caller ID shows "Public Survey". I filed a complaint with DoNotCall.Gov . All my phones are registered.
This caller is annoying. Never answers. Calls a couple a times a day for the past several weeks. Dead air and then fast busy. Try to call the number and get same thing, dead air and then fast busy. Someone needs to shut the number down. The phone company is Level 3 Communications, LLC. I went to their website and sent a complaint. Told them I would contact the Better Business Bureau re: their customers, if the calls don't stop.
Does not leave message. Calls at all hours.
