Just got one too, i said*****o, and you could hear noise in the background but no answer.Caller ID said P***nix, AZ

Like someone else I got a call from this number, picked it up to dead air and a **** up. I did a search and found this thread.

this people have been calling and leaving no message - I called back today and they claim they are a paper delivery "so****ing" ....I also left a message saying Im not interested in anything they sell

I received a call from this phone number and it is bothering

I called back today and got the AZ republic

I returned the call, the number belongs to a sales rep for the Arizona Republic Newspaper...

480.553.9044 is a harrassing phone service and anyone who recieves a call from this number should notify authority and file report. its the only way to catch this business in the act.

first i was getting calls that IDed at "Paper" several times a day for several days.  then i s****ed getting calls from this number that only IDed as "P***nix, AZ".  a***n, several times a day, several days in a row.  no message was ever left.  now i realize it is the Arizona Re***** calling from both numbers soliciting a subscription to their newspaper.  how rude!

This number called me several times a day and every day.  It is not only thre Star Tribune out of Minneapolis, it is also the Arizona Republic trying to sel their newspaper.

Star Tribune, trying to get people to move to every day subscriptions (giving the other 6 days free for now).  To get removed, you have to tell them and they will transfer you to a line where you enter your number and then it will be removed from their system.Rep was extremely nice.  If you want to get them to remove you, it seems the best option is to answer and go through the necessary hoops. I was getting 3-5 calls a day for the last week.

to confirm the post above-- after 4 calls today, I finally answered it and said no thanks to the star tribune. they were trying to get me to accept the newspaper for free for one week.

I received this number on my cell twice this evening. I also get "this call cannot be completed" when I try to call back.This is irritating, I have received this before and it stopped, now it s****s up a***n - same number.

I s****ed getting these calls today - twice so far, and decided to do a reverse phone lookup which yielded nothing except that it was coming from P***nix, AZ. Then for giggles & grins I did a Google search and this site came up. Annoying!

I also received these calls.  I am pretty sure they are related to star tribune because I got a call from them and then an hour later this number called.

s****ing Tuesday April 21st 2009, phone number 480 553 9044 has called my personal cel phone numerous times a day.  they leave dead air as a voice mail.  when I try to call the number back, it said "call cannot be completed as dailed".I'm also being hounded by a 415 phone number, but that's the S****ribune trying to get subscriptions up.  but both s****ed at the same time.

this number called me today and ***g up as soon as my answering ma****e picked up. the caller IDsaid MINNESOTA and the number. I also tried an PC to PHONE website this morning and wonder if its linked to that. The website for the pc 2 phone was evaphone.com. Not sure if its related, just wondering if anyone had similar situation.

these people called me twice today and left no voicemail.  I called them back and got the message that this number is disconnected or I have dialed the wrong number.
