Leave a Commentcalled twice today. .. back to back call. NO message left (not right). GOING to block em...!
do not answer any calls from this number 480-747-9849. They don't leave the reason why they called. It is a scam to get your number, name and other details from you.
I received a call today from a "Tom Murphy" at this number "in regard to a reference". This type of lying to get people to call back is ridiculous! I don't know what these people are after, but they are not going to get any information from me!
Also receive several calls a day from these people looking for two people I've never even heard of. I've called them back and spoken with a Michael who is very very rude and is a complete A@*****. When I've called back to speak to a superviser Michael ****s up, finally I tried calling from a different phone and got in touch with a Paul Gray who is supposed to be a superviser and asked him to stop calls. We'll see if this happens. What can I do to stop these calls!!
They have been calling my mother, looking for MY husband. They say we owe money for damage done when we rented a UHaul. The UHaul was broke into and we filed a police report which we gave to UHaul. They don't seem to have any actual facts regarding the debt or us. The debt is bogus. However, the harrassment is not. I have received calls from the Tempe and Scottsdale number and have made a report with the Arizona ***nch of the FBI, since they are crossing state lines and using the phone lines for their crimes. I called them back and informed them that I knew what they really were and the guy laughed and ***g up on me. If they call a***n, I am going to conference call them in to the the guy at the FBI I have been dealing with, then it won't be heresay.
Have been receiving calls from this number for over a yr, about twice a month. Person I originally talked to was a "Tom Evans".... couple of days ago, was a female on my voicemail. They keep calling a tracfone that I have, which isn't connected to my name in anyway.... glad I found this site, as I had no idea who they were, still don't.
none
keeps calling bugging the***** out of me
I also got calls yes****ay from the same ph# and than today from 514-626-7564 which I see is the same company. They never have left a message and I too do not answer calls I dont know. If I owe so****ing.. they have my address. I only mail payments when I have proof in writing.
Mike of "recovery partners" has to be the rudest employee of all time! Not only does is he think he can be the power in the conversation he also misses clues to help him accomplish his agenda. I will not forward his message to anyone and tried to tell him where he could find who he was looking for. Too bad mike. Anyone receiving calls from recovery partners I.E. Mike - call him back at 11 am till 3 pm Tuesday thru Thursday. 480-747-9849 perhaps we all can do so and end mike's power play. (tie up his message box, phone line) I am sick of this guy calling my number - it used to belong to someone else.
There seems to be some confusion about this collection agency and our business. Our business creates payment processing software used by businesses and banks. We would never be calling someone unless you were one of our customers. We do not make third party calls on behalf of any business that is attempting to collect debts. If you are getting calls you should look for the company in Arizona. Unfortunately their strong-arm collection style has reflected poorly on us, as people****ume that we must be the source of their harassment.
Many of the calls were like DJ'S. In the beginning the calls were coming from RP Solutions in Ithaca, NY from a toll free #. They would leave an incomplete message, never identifying themselves, just to call Candance with part of a ref.#, sounded very unprofessional so I never called back. Eventually I did checkout the Ph# to find out it was a collection agency. I knew I didn't have anything outstanding & have never had any experience w/ collection agencies (heard many stories-which I now know were true)I also figured it was a Scam. Until months later I answered a call to hear "if this is so & so press 1 etc. I did, feeling very uneasy not knowing what kind of Scam it was, then I was put on hold listening to music, after a little time I ***g up figuring a reputable Co. would call back & apologize, that didn't happen so a***n I figured it was a Scam. Then, last week I answered a call from the above local # on my cell(which I only use for emergencies, family, close friends & Drs. - only people I choose have this #)Needless to say I was taken aback to hear a very nasty male on the other end asking "how much are you going to pay today - this has been going on long enough" I said "what is this in reference too? Is that how you s**** a conversation?" He ***g up!The above # is for Recovery Partners in Scottsdale, AZ Their web site actually mentions Honesty & Integrity! All this occurred because a Health Care Provider did not file claims with Insurance Co in a timely manner so the provider decided to bill me instead. Can Not Be Done!
Reply to Layla: Identical scenario happened to me today. Tom Murphy requested my policy# and insurance phone number for an accident in december 07. I am completely perplexed how they obtained my information.Could these be security questions asked when opening a credit line or loan?
these people are legit -I was getting calls from them and when I finally asked what it was in regards to they helped me by billing my insurance for me. My insurance paid after several long talks with my representative. At the time of a car accident I was in I did not give insurance information and they were asked to collect a $13 thousand dollar amount from me!!!!! Thank God for Recovery Partners!
These people call me at all times of the day. They never leave a message just hold the phone.I dont ansewer a number that I dont know.Im glad that I didnt talk to them Now that I read all of this info about them here.
The same thing happened to me. A guy named Tom Murphy from RP Solutions called me and told me that since I had been in a car accident uninsured that I had to pay for the accident (not my fault). When I refused (politely the first few times) he s****ed yelling at me and threatening me that he was going to revoke my license, unfortunately I called the MVD just today and it looks like the insurance company can ask for it, but I don't know that they're with the insurance company. I think Farmer's sold my "debt" to them and they're trying to collect. The thing with me was that it was a different number (similar but I couldn't find the one calling me anywhere online), I figured I should put it up in case someone else can't find anything on this number either, at least they have this thread to go by. The number that called me was 480-747-9863.
after a very long pause they asked me if leala was home i said no she was not and they answered ok and i ***g up they have called me twice today. I believe it is a scam will try and get more info when if which i'm sure it will happen they call a***n.
I received a call from 480-747-9849 as well. It was from RP, however they left no message on my voice mail. After looking at the rest of the above entries, I see it may be a scam caller.
***d 866 661 5179 ext 9873 with RP Solutions called left a message with a reference number. Returned ***d's callCalled about a loan in collections... when I made attempts to discuss the account. ***d - The Collector became rude tried to dominate the conversation would not allow me to speak then quoted some type of law and stated since I refuse to talk to him call is terminated. Called back asked Six times to speak to his Manager the employee continued to argue.. finally after waiting person by the name of Mr. Lewis who stated he was the manager demonstrated the same non-professional behavior which raised a red flag. Mr. Lewis terminated the call ..... I called back asking for their the name, address and license number of the company he stated: "Look it up" refused to give me the information I asked then stated "Do not call us a***n". Any reputable collection agency will give you their address and license number it appears they were simply after a credit card number or some form of information pertaining to payment. Makes me wonder how they obtained my information?
Caller said my husband's license was going to be revoked because he was in an accident without insurance. I gave him insurance company and policy number. Very ****** thing to do. It's a scam.
Message left on answering ma****e to call Candace with RP Solutions @ 866-661-5179; as she was giving a reference number, the ma****e cut her off. This number shows up several times a day on the caller ID; I have in fact told them not to call a***n.
