I've gotten 4 calls in a hour now

FOUR...YES FOUR calls today, 09/25/2010. All were UNKNOWN caller NO number and/or UNKNOWN NAME WITH numbers I NEVER answer ANY number I do NOT know. ESPECIALLY since complaining to my home/cell phone company, who informed me that now MOST ALL utility companies, cable TV services, credit card companies...you name it, now almost EVERYONE is now "sharing" your telephone numbers for a NICE FEE. This number also NEVER leaves a voice mail, another indicator that they are either: telemarketers or scammers.

You are getting calls from this number because you signed up for some bogus thing on the internet. I signed up for it, too. It was for working out of your home and making huge $$$$. I should have known better, but on the ad it said "As seen on CCN, Fox, etc., etc. Anyway, it's BS. If you have Verizon, you can block numbers.

I rec. a call from a Tim-480 822-6970 (Thurs. at 8:58 PM EST) I ordered so****ing via internet and he wanted to discuss the matter with me. The caller wouldn't identify his business or name. When I told him I wouldn't talk to anyone without ID, he provided, TIM. I ended the conversation. I have Caller ID. When I ck’ed, the # 480-822 6970 from P***nix, AZ was on my ma****e. I called the #. There was no signal. Naples operator, Comcast, nor P***nix info.were able to help. I entered the # in the computer and got the # and the carrier-QWest. I called QWest (877-348 9007) and was informed that QWest couldn't help; I was given your Office Business # which I will call tomorrow between 8-6PM.) I was told that when the # was dialed that no company name was given (just a voice mail???) I find it quite strange that NOONE seems to know the name of the person or company behind the # nor do they have the “know how” as to how to go about getting the information.
