got a call from 1-484-696-4807 ­- has called several times threatening me with jail, next time called told him the person he was looking for doesn't work here, them he s****ed talking *****, said I have a nice voice, and asked my age proceeded to talk ***** and ***g up on me. called back and refused to speak the guy in my office, kept asking for the girl he just spoke too.. threatened with police and he ***g up. how do we get them to stop calling.....

I got a call from 484-696-4807 He asked for some person who I had no clue I told him he had the wrong number and s****ed to yell at me. I told him he had the wrong number once a***n and he chewed me out. I then told him I was going to trace his phone call and have him arrested. He had a heavy indian accent. I chewed him out after he tried to yell at me, but once I mention police dept. he ***g up what a *****!

Says a lawsuit has been filed a***nst me.. really think Indian accent, his name is obviously not Officer John White.. he has called so many times, last time he used name Robin Black. Complete scam, I never call them back..I wish they would finally give up I have been getting these calls for about 6 months. Really sick of it!

Claimed I took out a loan and he was issuing an arrest warrant. I called the state collections database and found out it was a complete scam if contacted call the better business bureau immediately do not give them any information

said he was a legal officer.Told me i was being sued but he couldn't tell me the company that was suein me!

this person keep calling my mother on her cell phone and her house phone, claiming to be a debt collector, he keeps leaving message saying he is going to get the police to come to her house and she needs to go put money on a "green dot" prepaid credit card and call him back with the prepaid card number. SCAM!

Received a call from Tim Payne claiming to be from a Cash Advance Company. Original call came from:

he is a great guy . he proposed me . he told that he will pay the loan on behalf of me.

This person that call claim that i owe an payday loan company and that a law suit has been filled a***nst me, which i dont owe,also there has been alot of scam going on.

Beware of this person calling. They said I was being sued by someone and I had to appear in court. They said I would receive so****ing in the mail. I can't remember the name used but they had a very heavy Indian accent. It was very obvious he was fishing for informtion.

Number just called me twice. First guy I spoke with could not understand me as I don't think he speaks English well. They told me they was a lawsuit filed a***nst me but couldn't provide any information. Then they told me my last four digits of my social security number and asked if that was my social, I just ***g up. They just called a***n and left a voicemail. I am going to ignore them as it seems like a SCAM.

We just had the same call and thought it sounded very fishy. So i Google the number and found tons of complaints. I continued calling them back and kept getting different names, different amounts owed. we s****ed messing with them until "Bob Cooper" realized we knew it was a bs scam freaked out and s****ed telling us if we have a sister to send her out on the corner to make some money to send them. They are so fake that anyone can call and say they rcvd a call about owing money and they will agree with any amount you say and tell you to western union it if u do not have a bank or credit card. THIS IS A SCAM. I HAD MULTIPLE PEOPLE CALL TO SEE IF THEY SAID THE SAME THING AND THEY DID. They just c****e the name and $ amount. Complete nonsense just like the guys Indian accent. They threaten to drag you to court if you don't pay. DON'T FALL FOR IT......ITS BU***HIT!!!!  there r a few different people that do this and it needs to stop. I turned it around and kept calling them and THEY couldn't control themselves and let down the act.

My daughter who is a minor got the same type of call.(Very heavy middle eastern accent) He asked" may I speak to tina my daughter replied there's no tina here so stop calling she then ***g up. the caller called her back at least 3 more times on the 3rd call he spoke nasty to her making ***ual comments to her she then ran and handed me the phone. I asked  who is this u just spoke to my teenage daughter like that I then said who r u calling? He replied I have a lawsuit a***nst your  name I said what r u talking about i then said what is my name he said tina I said no he then gave me some I'd # I said no he then said out of texas I said noooo. He then said oh well ill talk to you I said I don't think so he then said so****ing else I couldn't freaking understand I just disconnected the call. So****ing has to be done about this person speaking obsence to a minor this sh** is getting out of hand it looks from this page he's slippin now he's gone from trying to get money. By fraud, harrasment, to harrassing  obsence calls to minors and all is illegal he's gotta be stopped he has violated the law and should be stopped

We just got the same message.  Because of the thick accent it is hard to make out most of the message.  What s*** these guys are.  Need to file a report with the BBB. That call scared the **** out of my kids.  They thought we were in trouble.

Got this call today saying that he was officer Bob Cooper but for some reason had a thick indian accent lol but then when i called back he was ***d from dominoes pizza

Quietmann i just wanted to let you know i have had this problem several times...these people have many many numbers they call from.  I had to c****e my cell phone number after trying to just block it they also tried calling me at work and left a message that if i did not call him back that the lawyers were going to come and take me to jail.......what is so funny  about this is we do not have a debtors prison or be put in jail for not paying a bill.....

received voice mail 6-9-10 from Officer Chris Jones at American Legal Processing stating there was a lawsuit a***nst me and my property- he knew my correct address and that it was blocked- whatever that means- so glad to see this website. Called the number back it just played music and then cut me off. Very broken voice, difficult to understand.

I keep getting this same call from 484-696-4807 claiming my wife has a lawsuit and that she will be going to jail unless she satisfies this. They will also call you from 0810671147. What a bunch of idiots. Maybe the company that sold the information to these people should be facing a lawsuit themselves for the harassment and the threats....

I got a call this morning from this number. He left a message claiming he was with the "legal department" and my number and address were under investigation. I needed to call him back asap before my info was turned over to the courts!First of all, I could barely understand a word he said nor the company that he was with.I did not call the number back, but am going to report it to the Attorney General in MN.

I've receive a call from this number several times within a month, stated that i owe money.  It was an indian man with a heavy accent, i could not understand a word he was saying.  He stated that he was a Senior Office from American Legal Process Division.  I told this person that he had the wrong person.  He tried to say that I owe so****ing and that he had my ssi number and address.  I tried to call the number back, but it was always busy.  I thing this person has a problem and don't have anough to do.

I received a voicemail  on my cell phone from an Indian guy today.  He said his name was Tim Payne, a Senior Investigating Officer for Lauren (sp) Investigations Dept.   He said I owed some company $500.00 and if I didn't clear it up with him today, I would have to go to court.  I don't know what he is talking about. He had the wrong address and telephone number for me as well.  When I asked him for more information on his company, he wouldn't tell me. I will report this to the police tomorrow.

They called me with the same "legal action lawsuit". It was an man with a very thick indian accent. He told me that i had an outstanding loan with some advance loans agency. and they were sending me to court...he was talking so fast..i had just woken up....i demanded that he give me a number where i could check out this "outstanding loan." i called that number...they told me that the account was "red-flagged" and they could not give me any information about the loan. I went to the local police station and filed a report.

This same guy just called me from that number today claiming to be from the "American Legal process Division." so thats his new angle to be aware of. He was claiming to be officer Nair Johnson and had a very thick indian accent.

Ya i got this call today with all the same stuff that was stated on the other replys, indian guy sayin he was a senior officer brian foster say that i owed money and said i haveto go to court for leagal issues. After i ran his number i found out it was a scam and called him back saying that i would like to press leagal charges aginst him and s****ed laughing and said he was a joke and he told me to calm down motha***ka and ***g up. lol

the guy called me 2x this morning, 1st time woke me up and I was too groggy to understand his accent, but he said his name was chris...so I ***g up, 2nd time called back saying his name was bob and same story as everyone else... he was investigating me and had been trying to reach me for several days.. of course I'm still half asleep and ask what is he trying to sell me... he says I'm going to have to pay off a loan or take it to court for some payday loan online.  LOL he got mad when I said send me proof in the mail... then said "you can fight it in court" and ***g up.   I hope no one falls for this

I received the same call today around 3:33 pm EST.  The voicemail was hilarious!  I honestly hope our Federal Goverment has some sort of rule a***nst hiring *********s, because that's exactly what he sounded like.  Didn't call back, and do not intend to, maybe they'll stop calling?

got a call from this number at my place of employment and he left a msg on my work ma****e stating that I was in serious trouble if I did not return the call immediately

LOL... Yes, this a SCAM!!! Please understand that under FDCPA, no bill/debt collector can call threatening you with legal actions unless they really intend to do so... Which a lawsuit would have to be filed in the state in which the crime was committed. Thus, clearly this Indian accent dude does not know the law. Just ask him for his name and the company he works for. Then tell him to validate his claim or you will file a lawsuit a***nst him and listen as he gets frustrated and ****s up!!! LOL, its so funny... I even called back as a legal representative "KMA" Law Firm and they claim that they never called nor know who I am... Priceless!!!

I got this call this morning telling me I owed money from payday loan and loan advances that I had received. I have never taken out any payday loans or cash advances told me they would be on my doorstep with all the papers. Indian accent so much that I could hardly understand them. I got really rude with him telling him payday loans are illegal in NC and he got defensive and ***g up on me.

Same thing happened to me today. 5/25/10 First he called from an out of an country call. He also implied that he had access to my bank accounts. I am very worried. He said I had an advance loan from some company, which I have not had. Everything I spend is within my own banking account. Be careful. Don't let them get you.

I have received the same call from the same number the past 3 days.  The caller has used the name Bob Cooper and Roger Schmit.  When I ask about the company he either ****s up or tries to say a name really fast.  He had told me on the first call that he had an affidavit in hand from the Federal Courthouse of Pennsylvania and they were going to pursue federal charges a***nst me for check fraud if I didn't settle this now. He stated I took out a payday loan and didn't repay it within 21 days.  He could give me no more information regarding the company when the money was deposited nothing.  I told him I would call him back, when I called back, they answered the phone*****o.  Hello?  Since when doesn't a business idenitfy themselves.  When they called back today my boyfriend and i were messing with him.  He then proceeded to ask me how many fingers I had on my hand.  When I asked him the same question, he said 5 and told me to shove them up my****.  TOTAL SCAM but they think they are slick let me tell you!

This number is scam number   Indian accent   lawsuit filed on you ,  wants money for loan for different companies,  You check with company that they say and they will tell you that it is scam and you do not owe money and they do not have lawsuits.   The Indian will also tell you the trouble forthcoming will be on your head.  Say they are a Law officer with the courts.   Have reported to police and flc.   this is only 1 of many numbers that they are using

About the middle of March they called and we fell for it then and they got $460 out of us and then today the bob cooper calls my brothers girlfriend and says that they need to s***k with my husband and that If my brothers girl didn't give him the message then she would be in court also so that threw up a red flag and  so I looked up the name and found this and I called him myslef and frist ask who am I s***king with and he said Bob I said yes u spoke with my brothers girlfriend and he said can I have her name and number, now really how many brothers girlfriend dose someone talk to in one day? He just keep trying 2 get info but I just keep saying I rather not say over the phone but you should already have the info, after 10 min of playing he ***g up on me. I received 8 calls in one day a few weeks ago from these guys. But from a number in CA. They left 5 voicemails I have saved them. Today I received a call from the above number same type call. These people know who I work for an my previous address. I contacted the police last time they suggested c****ing my cell number. I am beyond frustrated. I dont have time to deal with scam calls.

5/12/10...daughter received a call from this number...I called back pretending to be the client..told them my name was Sue Smith and gave them a local pizza phone number as mine...took Bob Cooper a minute to "find my file"..he came back and said i owed $445.00 from a payday loan from the internet...i of course mucked it up with "on my i cant believe i owe that..i thought it was paid back...He then asked if i could payback the loan using either check or credit card...I then told him he was a joke(not such nice words used)...THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM....DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO........

I got the same call earlier, tried to call with *67 wouldn't go through, first call was from an andrew carter, then just got another one who told me it was his second call man named David Daniel, I did try calling back and it wouldn't go thru, told me if I didn't call back I would be arrested tomorrow.

I to got a call from these people and he told me his name was Officer Tony. When i heard the msg i laughed myself.  They have not called me back but he did say he was with the FBI and had a accent also. Yes i totally agree a SCAM!!!!!!

EXACT same thing happening to me. When I told him I had called the place her was alledgedly working for & that they confirmed I did not owe them a cent & they were familiar w/this fraud, I filed a police report.He just had the ***** to call me back a***n today, when I told him he was a liar & a thief & that the call was being monitored, he ***g up.

He claimed he worked for the United Federal Bureau of Investigation legal department and that I was under investigation.  I almost laughed.  I asked him if he was with the US FBI and he almost said yes.  I asked him a***n who he was with and he said a legal department representing the major finance companies and that I had not paid back a payday loan.  I asked him why he said he was with the United Federal Bureau of Investigation and asked him a***n what company he was with.  He ***g up.  Total scam.
