I got this call too, a woman speaking Spanish (which I don't ! ) Most annoying... I googled the # and comes to find out I'm not the only one to get this call. I put myself on the "Do Not Call Registry" 2 months ago.. why did this call still get through to my number?

Get this call everyday.  Want them to stop, NOW.

I have no idea who would be calling me from this number. I never answer calls when I don't know who or what. What I do know is that it originated in Spring City, Pennsylvania.

Keeps calling once a month at the same time, foreign language I can't understand

Lady called me from PA and when I answered only spoke in Spanish. I did not understand anything she was saying and it sounded like a recorded message.

Same thing happened to me today as well.  Nice to know I'm not the only one.  As the person above suggested, I emailed and complained.

there was a recorded message about so****ing that i won, this call was made to my cellphone that not listed on yellow pages, my husband recieved the same call at the same day to his cellphone

Same here. I traced the number to the service provider (http://www.numberinvestigator.com/phone/484-986-9988.html. The company providing the service is Cavalier Telephone LLC and the email address to contact them is [email protected]. I've already sent them an email complaining and I recommend everyone here do the same. Be polite and factual. If they receive enough, they'll probably take action. I don't know if there's a specific law a***nst it, but this is ****ogous to an ISP allowing a customer to send SPAM through its service. ISPs can be shut down if it persists.

answered this number, prerecorded message in spanish mentioning so****ing about money. ***g up on me after 21 seconds of talk time. Other sites report it to be a scam.

I received a call from 484-986-9988 on my mobile phone today, 12-18-09.  I don't know this number and when I researched it, it came to this site to report it.

Received a call from this number at 1048 ET 18 DEC 2009. I received it on my iPhone (AT&T). Caller ID only provided the number and PA, USA. No message.

Just got this call on my cell.  I have AT&T.  My phone never gets unsolicited phonecalls.  Ugh, I hope this isn't a new trend.  My trusty iPhone dropped the call so I didn't hear the message.

as many others on here, i have a blackberry with T-mobile as well. i find it highly su****ious some of us have the same type of phone, and some even witht he same carrier.

Received call on my cell phone from this number. They did not leave a message. Googled phone number and found that tons of people have receieved unwanted calls from this telemarketer. Please shut them down!

I got this call from both 484-986-9988 and 312-986-9988.  What makes people think that I can understand Spanish?  And why insult me with low-class South American Spanish instead of proper Spanish Spanish?

This telephone call came in today during regular work hours...The call was made to my home phone, for the very first time...My caller ID showed the origin to be Spring City, PA...I have no family nor business relations with anyone there...If I dial the number, I am greeted by a British-accentuated recording that states the number is not in service...My Blackberry cell phone carrier is T-mobile, but the call was made to my home number.

I have a ***nd new blackberry - haven't given the number to anyone except a small handful of co-workers.  This number called me.  It was a recording in Spanish.  I have no idea what they wanted as I don't speak any Spanish.

I didn't answer the phone, but it seems as if this person offers a product, or so****ing. IN SPANISH. I was ticked. I found many people i knew have been called by this same person.
