The message s****ed with "AT&T Free Msg:", correctly addressed my name and said my phone bill last month was overcharged. There was a link by the end.

It was a text message not a phone call mentioned above. Rec'd several of these.

The text claimed that ATT had overbilled me last month...I did NOT click on the attached link.

They claimed there was an improper surcharge to my phone bill and provided a link to “accept reimbur*****t.”

Tried to come off as AT&T saying to follow link due to improper surcharge.
