They said we had talked and did I want to sell my place

This person claimed they wanted to buy my home, then proceeded to give me my elderly parents’ hole address. Said her name was “Grace,” and this is all through text btw.

This text read: “Are you okay?”… Number not in my address book, and came in almost immediately after another spam text that I reported. Area code is New York area… I have all my friends in NY in my address book.

Text said: “Hey there, this is “ **ex-husband’s first name** ”, right?” My ex knows everyone in his address book, etc., and although our names are still connected on basic internet searches, we have been divorced for 5 years. Also, no one uses his full first name…. Just a nickname. I’m sure this text is spam.
