This number is not spam. It's the Oregon department of revenue.

This is a scam. Not with state of Oregon like number says. Anything can be put up as caller ID!

I have gotten multiple calls from this number over a few months. Never leaves a message. Irritating.

This is a number used by the state of Oregon. Could be from a number of different divisions. Anyway, not a scam or fraud just someone from a state office using official phones calling out. You can not call back in due ***he fact it is a one way line. Will say disconnected.

Got a call today 3/31 from this number. I get a disconnected error message when I call back.

I called the number back today after missing a call.  It is a disconnected number.  Weird.

I missed the call (phone was in different room and didn't hear it in time to answer).  Caller id record showed that there were two calls from this number, one minute apart.  No message was left.  I attempted to return the call immediately and got the recording that the number was disconnected.

Got several calls from 503-235-1259 on Jan 8, 2009 and Jan 9, 2009. The female caller knew my first name, asked if I had a minute. I said not now. She said she'd call back in the morning. Several calls from that number on my caller ID the morning of Jan 9, 2009. My number is listed on the federal do not call registry.

work at DHS personnel, call people for appointment, if speak clearly will be profession, her voice was not clear so i tried to call back? but line was not working so they says?? ,,,this phone number is very important for people need to get appointment to gets food stamps. I do not understand why we can not call back! to make sure appointment is set up so that everything will be nice.

this number is from the multnomah county jail. you can not call it back since it is an outgoing phone only. they let the inmates use it when they are booked and can not make a collect call.

I returned the call and as the previous reporter stated, I also got a disconnect message.  I'm much too busy for this nonsense!

I received calls from this number 5 times within 9 minutes. Enough to make me go to the web to find out what was up. I didn't answer the calls, just saw the ID listed multiple times on my caller ID.

Received a call at 7:20 this morning asking for my husband. I asked who was calling, she said it was the Oregon Employment Department but didn't give her name. She wanted to know where hubby works. He just filed an unemployment claim and they should have that information on file. Besides that, when does the State of Oregon call at 7:20 a.m.? Very su****ious.

pretty wierd, why call and not leave a message? Why have your number blocked? So I can be contacted but the government Can't? Go Figure!!!!!!

I too recieved a call from this number. It was around 6:30 pm so if it was from the State of Oregon then w***ver made the call needs to call me during business hours.

from the food stamp office on 2nd ave downtown pdx. It is the pay phone.

It's an outgoing line from a State Office Building.  This line is outgoing only and cannot receive calls.  The call I got was from Oregon Department of Environmental Quality in response to my request to review files.

It's an Oregon State number they use that cannot be replied to. Why they don't leave a message to let you know where to call is beyond me, it's the State. Go figure!

The number is from the Department of Health and Human Services. It's the number that comes up instead of the direct line the person from DHS has called you from. Not sure why however.

Got a call from this number, tried to call it back but strangely the number says it's been disconnected.   Tried using a 1 .. tried not using a 1 .. Same difference.Weird to be getting a call from a phone number that is no longer listed.

Just got this call on my cell phone- no message was left. When I called back, I got a recording that the number was no longer in service.
