I am getting a call from them too. Wth? They are on the popular ****** site http://www.******mug****s.com and they want to confirm an ****** in Los Angles. That's great and all but I don't live in LA. What can I do?

Thanks for your concern about these calls.  The phone number 503-334-4108 is "leased" from a bank of phone numbers owned by a 3rd party.  We have no record of what****ociations there may have been with this particular number prior to using it in our calls.  Based on a brief online search, we were unable to find the linkage to an ****** service or ****ographic images, but we take your input seriously.  This is certainly inconsistent with the culture of compassionate care that we have at Portland Rescue Missio****** a year, Portland Rescue Mission makes calls to existing donors to update them on our Mission's ministry and to request that you consider another gift to help us going into the summer season.  Gateway Communications, a licensed marketing firm here in Portland, has been our vendor/partner in this annual effort for 17 years and represents us well in these calls.  They do not leave messages.  They simply try to call a***n hoping to reach someone at home.If you call 503-334-4108, you'll get a voice message with the option to leave information to "opt out" of future calls.  Or if you choose to pickup the phone and answer (the calling campaign is actually finished now), you can tell the Gateway caller that you'd prefer not to receive calls.  Or call the Mission's administrative offices (503-MISSION), and we can add that restriction to your donor record as well.We certainly apologize for any offense.  While these calls are a nuisance to some, ***dreds of friends of the Mission appreciate the calls and contribute faithfully each year, so it's a worthwhile effort on our behalf.  And the proceeds make a huge difference in the lives of hurting men, women and children here in Portland.Don't hesitate to call my desk (503-906-7605) if you have questions or additional concerns.  Thanks.

I was getting called by this # almost daily, and they never left a message.  After visiting this site a few days ago, I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.  Then the # called me a***n yes****ay and this time I answered.She claimed to be with the Portland Rescue Mission, doing a once-a-year phone fundraiser.  I didn't give her my info, of course.  I've reported it to the Rescue Mission to find out if it's true or not.  I'll post a***n here if I hear back from them.

I'm getting calls after 7pm from these freaks too.  I looked the number up on google and came up with the same thing: some ****** service (the listing is copy and pasted below).  How they h-e-doublehockeysticks they got my number is BEYOND me (I don't frequent websites or engage in such services, this is a FAMILY PHONE), but I can't get them to stop calling.  Only once did they call in the afternoon, the other 6 or 7 times it was after 7:30pm!  All I can suggest is this:  https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspxFile a complaint, if you have your number on the Do Not Call list already. I sent them the dates and times each call took place, you might need to look it up on the phone records, but my phone keeps track.  Luckily. I handed it all over to them and they can sort it out, as well as slap a cease and desist on them.

503-334-4108 is an ****** services scam. If you google that number and click on the link, its a slew of ****o pics. Disgusting and evil lure for vulnerable people. Not to mention the person really available at that phone number probably being 50+ yrs old and hideously unattractive. Beware. Block the calls.

I tracked it back. It's some **** ****** service. I've no idea who these people are but I am going to report them to the State.
