Leave a CommentI find it confusing to report such a call. When I do I don't know if my message goes "through" or not.
The man identified himself as Quinton O'Connor. His return telephone number was 866-743-9889. He sounded too sincere about wanting to get in touch with the person he called about that it sounded soooo fake.
The gentleman called me tonight a 7:12pm PST acting like he was some kind of a telemarketer asking me if my address was still the same and is that where I was receiving mail at still. He was very even toned so I thought it was a recording and ***g up. He called right back, I told him I wasn't interested and he quickly blurted out he was calling about my defaulted student loan. ***g up a***n, he didn't call back.
I s****ed getting a call from this number last week, around 6:30 pm. I do not answer calls from unknown numbers and they did not leave a message. They then called my grandmother's house (she lives across the country from me) and spoke with my sister. She asked who was calling and why. The man said his name is Les Waters and he could not disclose any information to her without my written consent. He said it was 'like a doctor's office' regarding privacy. They have called me this week at 8:30 am and a***n at 6:30 pm.
turn them into the FCC and the attorney general office.
Called asking for a number for my brother who I have not seen for over 15 years. Did not identify themselves and seemed deceptive. Upon calling back the phone was answered as SAM (So****ing****et Management).

I was told they are calling to collect a debt from the dept of ed on one of my student loans. since I work in an outsourced call center such as this I can tell you that the reason you sometimes may hear them but they don't answer you and **** up is probably because of a phone system connected to their computers on an automated dialer called a soft phone. There is a glitch where sometimes the representative can see who they are calling but can not hear you or know that you picked up and is speaking to them because they won't hear anything on their side. Also , management usually gets on reps about not muting their microphone between calls and they may have forgotten that they did so and is speaking to you and not realizing you can't hear them until you get frustrated and **** up.Some call centers will not allow them to call back in the same day even to apoligize.since the call center is an outsourced call center they may handle collection calls from several different legitimate companies as well as orders or appointment setting from others,it varies on the clients. My guess is , when people got tired of getting customer service calls in places like india or getting calls from india more places such as this became more viable as the at***udes of companies s****ed to shift.Remember just a few years ago had you called most any company for help in their call centers you weren't calling the USA even if you dialed a local or 800 number (such as Dell's tech support) . Just ask for the information to the original debter.

To: Financial****et, aka, whatever other aliases you use. Please send us the legal representative information, such as REAL name, attorney license number, business address (not a post office box as that is not a physical address that can accept the paperwork we have for you), and nicely, your phone number that you ANSWER. Fax it to 206-666-6423.Suspect you can't afford an attorney, so I'll be happy to forward the information to corporations and securities or the county office that registers REAL DBA's. Seems you are not registered anywhere. How nice. How typical.
Shady "collection agency"? Cannot even verify if they are legal in any way. Could be a business. Could be a criminal enterprise. Could be a business operating in a criminal manner (most likely, since you cannot get a real name, etc.) Remember, NEVER PAY A COLLECTION AGENCY MONEY as you do not owe the agency the money. Pay the original debtor, or persons or business, the money you owe them. Or don't pay them at all! But NEVER a third party as there are many collection agencies that double the debt to make a profit that would make you wonder if they have a 'license to commit fraud." Even government sanctioned agencies often tack on illegal charges knowing you can't afford to fight it in court. IRS claimed a relative owned a 1000 square foot bar, making 100,000 a year. The bar was about 300 sqare feet and on a GOOD YEAR he cleared 23,000. So he handed the keys over to the **** with the IRS badge and GUN (yes, they draw guns in some sick, sick idea it makes them men. Guess they lack ****s so they chase out customers to try to make a fast buck). Yes, s*** exists everywhere, so NEVER PAY A THIRD PARTY. Funny how the ****less wonder with his other ****s tried to TALK him into keeping the bar. But he knew he had been run out of business by someone with a grudge (had nothing to do with owed taxes, but effective way to destroy someone without ever having to follow the law).So any ****less wonders want to 'sock it to you', remember you have a mind. You have rights. And we still live in a country that's still freerthan where our relatives came from. Tell them they will get no information, no coffee, not even the time of day. Cause they would sell your grandma for a nickel if they could. This happens to be one of the s*** ****ing kind.... Doesn't matter who sent them, etc. This particular company lies like it's the most natural thing in the world. So stop showing them respect when they know of no such thing. They also have NO IDEA if you actually owe anyone money cause you're just a name/victim on the list.If you BELONG to this dirtbag call center, I want your REAL name, REAL address, and your attorney to cut down on the paperwork/service fees when I have you served. Since I am into visiting dirtbags in court no***ays, I want to personally find out why you think I or any member of my family owes you a dime. Because unlike YOU, I have nothing to hide DIRTBAG. I can show my face in court, but clearly you are afraid of the court system, hiding behind a phone, in some boiler room operation probably.
Your mom called from this #. Said she missed me and wanted me to come over. She was persistent and called me three times a day to get some...
Random Call at WORK. Asked me if SSN #, address, and DOB was me. It is not and I don't appreciate someone calling me at work. I have no idea who they are looking for and it certainly is me.Caller ID: 503-372-2620Caller: Financial****et ManagementCaller Type: Collection Agency
"Can somebody report them?" is a legitimate question. I'm sorry I don't have the answer, but this site may help. They've called several times (even early weekend mornings)- and ignore our repeated statements to them to stop calling.
I receive calls from this outfit looking for an individual every day, sometimes several times during the day. I have repeatedly requested that they send me so****ing signed by the person or do***entation from the court. They have never complied, so I have never looked to see if the person really works here or not.
This collection agency is really breaking all the laws and regulations. The FTC ought to revoke their license. Can someone report them! If anyone needs to be out of a job, it's the poor souls and their bosses making calls and overtly violating the laws.
They called asking when my birthday was and then threw out some random numbers for my social wanting to know if it was correct. Guy said that I owed some money. Definitely shady!!!!
Who is this? What $ do I owe? They would give me 0 info.
Rang, no message, I heard someone take a breath while he/she ***g up. Snakes...
just this morning, good luck getting any money out of the unemployed in this ecomony.
