I got the same exact message but was from a (361) area code.

Wow the same thing happened to me today... said the same thing when I asked who it was & to add on Yahoo Messenger & phone battery was going dead.

tried to contact by text and asked me to be add on yahoo.

Sent me a text asking how I was, when I texted back "who is this" they said to logon to Y! msnger, my name is thainekep904

Very same message asking me to add them on yahoo messenger.

I just received the text. I though I knew the person since the spelled my name correctly, which is weir since I have a compound name.

Just the got the same exact messages Sherri. Must be spam of some sort.

i got the same type of text also as Matthew. except spelling my first name wrong ;) I asked who is this, and they asked me to go on yahoo chat with them there cell was about to die. I said sorry wrong number. I believe this is spam because 1) they would not say who they were, 2) they wanted me to make contact another way 3) name misspelled, 4) I do not know anyone in Oregon. received 10/11/12
