And got another phone call from an out-of-state number that I didn't "know" or recognize. I didn't answer, but looked up the number here. They left no message. I am on the National Do-Not-Call List, and have been for over a year now. (I guess this is our government at work for us.) Once a***n, I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints AND to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx and see if that can get the government to work for me, and stop these calls. (Yes I will go through all those steps once a***n.) We should all pile on. [I have also bookmarked these URL's.]

Just dont answer. I never answer unidentified calls or calls that come thru that are not in my list of contacts. That is one of the nice things about voicemail, people. Take control. If they must talk to you they will leave a message. But most of these numbers, if they do not get hold of you they will remove you from the list so as to get hold of a "live" one. For those of you who just HAVE to answer a ringing phone for some reason, just dont say anything until they do. Most of the spammers wont speak first, they wait for you to say*****o. Ive never gotten a call back from any of these numbers if it goes to voicemail or you just dont speak.
This caller offered to lower my interest rate....asked me to press 1 .... I pressed end call

I keep getting unsolicated phone calls to my cell phone, which is listed with "Do-Not-Call". No message is left, but it cost me for the minutes the spend calling me. I live on Social Security and can not afford to pay for unsolicated spammer calls. I believe the call is coming form Sandy, OR and the line carrier is a company called Global Crossing. BEWARE OF THIS NUMBER.
Spam.
Have received a number of calls from this number. Talked to rep twice asked to be removed but have not. Filled out complaint form with FCC (Do Not Call) several times over past year but they don't seem to be doing anything about it.
Total spam...offer to lower credit card interest rates.
I did not answer.
Freakin spam---robo caller
Said the call originated in OR.****ume it's spam but didn't answer so not 100% sure.

I just didn't answer the call, mainly because I didn't recognize the number. No msg left, so I presumed it was a robo call.
I don't know anyone in the 503 area code so I let this call go. Legit callers leave a message but I received none from this caller. I can only****ume it's spam.

They call saying that my credit cards were eligible for a new program to lower the interest rate. And I'm so tired of these calls that I decided to play along. Press one, and the guy gets on the phone, tells me I'm eligible for this great new program to lower the interest on my credit cards. Long story short he wants my name, last four digits of my Social Security number, the type of card, the issuing bank and the card number with the expiration date. So as he's asking these questions, I'm writing up all the false information so I can recall it when he has to ask a***n, that way it's always consistent. We go through the process about three times and he's unclear on why he can't verify my card. It is at that Point I'd tell and I don't have any credit cards and that he is an idiot. Also, that if he is going to waste my time I will waste his. This credit card service phones scam needs to be shut down. Its annoying, intrusive and dangerous to the consumer.

This is a phishing scam. Report these people immediately to your local district attorney, your state attorney general’s office and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). What they are doing is highly illegal and a violation of several state and federal laws. Do not call registries are meaningless to these people. Since we can't ***** them, sending them to jail would be the next best thing. If they call and you speak with them, do NOT give them any personal information, but milk them for everything you can find out about them. Then report it immediately. These crooks appear to move quickly and often, but they are probably using “s****ed” numbers. I've gotten calls from Seattle, Portland, New York, Detroit and St. Louis.

11/22/2011 11:29am They called and a recording stated that this was the 3rd and final call that someone in my household would receive about lowing my credit card interest rate. I press the number and the person answered 'Account Services' said that I needed a valid credit card and at least $3000 worth of debt. I asked if there was a number that I could call them back because I do not discuss my information with people who call me and I need to verify the caller and she say no. I asked if there was a customer service number that I could contact and she said not until I qualify. I told her that I was on a 'do not call' list and she said that is why you want the number and ***g up.
Got a call on my cell phone yet I am on both Do Not Call Lists - what's up??? The number will not stop calling.
Got a call on my cell phone yet I am on both Do Not Call Lists - what's up???
Called me just a second ago, no person, no robo-voice, ***g up after a few seconds.
I got a call from this number on my cell phone on Sa****ay, November 19, at 10:15 AM Eastern Time. It was a female robo-voice telling me that I needed to call as soon as possible because they could negotiate a better interest rate for any debt that I had, as long as I had $3000.00 in debt or more. I was supposed to press "1" to talk to a "friendly agent." I ***g up. I am on the Nationwide Do Not Call List for this number and am filing a complaint with my state atty. general's office, as well as contacting the FCC complaints website. I will file a complaint there as well. I suspect the people at this Oregon number are phishing for personal information that they hope someone is ****** enough to give.

Got a phone call from a number I don't "know". They left no message. I am on the National Do Not Call List. (I guess this is our government at work for us.) I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and see if that can get the government to work for me.
They call several times a day
When you call back this number there is a recorded message regarding the do not call registry & to enter your number. I suggest you don't enter your personal info.
Answered call & it's a prerecorded message regarding to call for a loan.
Calls on cell phone, I don't answer, they don't leave message. SCAM!

Called at about 10:00 a.m. on 10/10/11. I am on the no call list.
Why is ATT selling my cell phone number?
Receive a call about once a week, promising to lower my credit card interest rate. Clearly a bot dialing every number and very annoying!

They keep calling me promising a lower credit card interest rate. I have repeatedly asked to be put on a no call list and now when I ask to speak to a manager they just **** up. I have also been called from 414-426-0849, this one you call back and it's someones personal voicemail!
