Trying to collect bank info

They have been calling me many times a day for the past several weeks.  I just called and a lady named Emily answered.  She asked for my account number and then for my full social security number which Wells Fargo would never do.  Be careful if they try to contact you.

These people have been calling me twice a day everyday for the past two weeks!!! I heard it was a Wells Fargo number, but I don't even have an account with them!! This is driving me nuts, I'm filing a complaint...

Dont bother with this number. Its a scam! Call Wells Fargo and ask for yourself. Its not an outside collection agency. I already asked. And a few more bits of proof... Tell them you dont belive they are with WF. They will end the call immediately without another word. WF wont ask for your CC or acct number or SSN. They can transfer the money with a simple recording of you "agreeing" to the amount specified. Call them more than once and youll find its the same 3 people answering the calls. WF hires ***dreds of collectors. Why would you get the same 3 people? Infact I called back one day and reached "Ann" 5 times in a row.If your recieving a call because someone you know owes WF money, its because they get the info from someone inside WF. Some corrupt person is selling debters info who are out in collections (ie, myself) and contact everyone thats****ociated with you. They ask for your info or their cc info to make a withdrawl. They call my mom, brother and girlfriend looking for me but none are listed with me. Its a simple background check to see that we lived at the same locations and your contact numbers are usually included if you buy the service. A friend of mine gets calls from this number for his old landlord who used to rent him a back cottage. He had no relation except the address at one point just to give you an idea of what their looking for. In short, block the call. There nothing you can do. Never NEVER give ANY info over the phone unless you called them di******y. And dont use the number they give you. ITS FAKE! Call them from 411 if you dont already have the number.

its not Wells fargo. Its a scam. Call WF for yourself from 411 or the back of your atm card and ask if they have anyone by this number. They dont! Also, tell the 503 number operator when they answer that WF said 'they arnt****ociated to WF according to your info' and they will **** up on you every time. Dont do the remove phone number either. Once you enter your info, theyve stolen your number and are buying their next flat screen TV online. Third, Its always the same 3 people answering your calls. Dont give them anything! WF wont ask for your acct number. The will ask for your name only. They can also process a payment over the phone without you having to give out any personal info other than so****ing small like a home address to verify your you. Best bet is to call them at their 800 number and be transfered. You wont loose your iden***y that way.****ume everyone who calls is a scam. If I ever accidentally end up on a call with a collector, I always tell them I will not give them info without me calling them back at the number I have for them. Dont use the number they gave you. Its fake. Common sense will save you thousands. TRUST NO ONE!

Its Wells Fargo Card Services. They will call and call and call and call. No Messages. Then after about three to four months, they s**** leaving messages to call them. A month after that, they leave messages saying that it is an urgent time sensative matter. Now, they are still calling and about the 5th call every day, they leave a message. It's a CREDIT CARD company attempting to collect money... in my case it's WELLS FARGO. If by chance you do not owe a debt collector any money, perhaps someone you do not know who is hassled by a COLLECTOR, used your number as their own to avoid the very same annoying calls I'm getting.Also, I have no idea what the above poster is talking about with the "African American lady parks in front of house...just smoking and throwing out trash from her car." malarkey.. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the DEBT COLLECTORS.

this number has been calling my husband's work cell for days.  we have no wells fargo accts and never ever had.  he called the 800# referenced above and asked to have his # removed.  they asked if he was so and so--he said no.  she said she'd remove but it would take 24 hours.

It turns out this is an outsource collections agency hired by Wells Fargo. They claim if you call them at 800-988-8019 and press zero, then ask to have your number removed it will be. The robo-call system updates at midnight or so****ing.

After telling WELLS FARGO to stop calling and filing FTC DNC complaints receiving 5-10 calls 6pm-9pm from WELLS FARGO caller id 1-503-716-9592, OUT OF AREA caller id 1-800-542-4720 and OUT OF AREA caller id no number showing. VERY SHADY CALLING FROM WELLS FARGO, JUST GOT ANOTHER CALL FROM OUT OF AREA NO NUMBER.

2 calls this morning from WELLS FARGO caller id that never leaves any messages or answers, then 2 more calls at 6:11pm same thing no message or answers. Right after that 4 calls from an OUT OF AREA caller id that doesn't show any number and 2 calls from 1-800-642-4720 which is all from WELLS FARGO CREDIT CARD services. Plus a Black BMW 330i license# 4PHE736 African American lady parks in front of house and neighbors daily just smoking and throwing out trash from her car. ***ody knows who she is and she never gets out of her car at various times of the day, whats very su****ious is that she only parks on our section of the street and during hot days not in the shade. We don't have any WELLS FARGO account or credit card from them which I told them several times and these harassing calls and car parking in front of house is getting very su****ious now.

4 WELLS FARGO caller id calls, 4 OUT OF AREA caller id with no number showing, 2 OUT OF AREA caller id 1-800-642-4720 calls all from 8am-9pm that never leaves any messages or answers. These numbers are on WELLS FARGO CREDIT CARD service website, but they never leave any messages or answer. Don't have any WELLS FARGO account or credit card and have told them several times. Now there is a Black BMW 330i license# 4PHE736 African American lady that parks only in our section of the street and smokes at various times of the day throwing ****s-trash out of her car for about 10-35 minutes then leaves. Very su****ious activity going on here with harassing calls and car parking in front of house.

what important things to let the caller-503-716-9592 call me 4-5 times a day, it is wells fargo bank ? i don't need any bank's products thank you

These days I have been receiving phone calls from this number and never get an answer. I don't want this caller call me a***n, it's very disturbing.Every day,several times, if it is really-- Wells Fargo Card Services, then, o.k. close  it
