This number called me at 8pm PST.  I've talked to them before.  I wish I had the job and $ to donate, but it's hard times even for America's grads.

Fundraising! it makes so much sense now.  I've been getting calls 2 to 3 times a week from this number as well, always in the evening (PST) or on the weekend.  I knew 725 was a PSU prefix, but hadn't worked out if it was actually PSU and if so, why they would be calling me (i'm not a student anymore and don't owe them any money).  Thanks everyone for your help in figuring out the 503.725.6678 mystery!

503-725-6688, 503-725-6669  These are fundraising calls from Portland State University.  I've told them I am on the East Coast and they continue to call me very late at night!

It's actually Portland State University for fundraising/donations. I get these calls on my home phone at least twice a week, as I am a PSU alumna.

Hm, i was called by these numbers too. I'm going to guess it's Portland Community College wanting me to pay my tuition.

i keep getting calls from 503-725-6678, 503-725-6687, 503-725-6692, 503-725-6686, 503-725-6691, 503-725-6688, 503-725-6692 and my cell phone company won't block the numbers unless i pay $5 a month.  this is frickin' ridiculous.
