I answered because it was a local number, but this was a robo call from http://www.thedailyjackpot.com/. People who hear nothing after answering are experiencing the robo call connection failing. A woman asked me if I would take a survey to be entered in a sweepstakes to win $25,000, I said okay to see what it was about and she forwarded me to an automated system that tried to get me to agree to a seemingly endless series of offers. I eventually ***g up and looked them up. It seems like a trickier, more aggressive version of Publisher's Clearing House. The Sweepstakes seems real, but of course its main purpose is to get people to sign up for other sponsored offers.

At minimum, spam. Number is out of West Linn, Oregon.

Ive gotten calls from this number twice and when i answer all i hear is a loud beeb. Im 15 so there is no way i entered in the jack****.

At first I didn't catch what she said the first time and she repeated and said I signed up for a daily jackpot and they that she would transfer me to answer a few questions. When I asked her what or where I would have signed up she just repeated her spiel and a***n asked if it was ok to transfer me. I still did NOT say yes (I said I don't even know why you are calling). It appears yes is what they are looking for because at that point she said "Ok disregard the call".

Picked up, got nothing but a single loud beep. Called back, got a Daily Jackpot spam recording.
