Received a call from someone claiming to be a Microsoft engineer. Same story as others have reported on this site. With so many consistent complaints, you'd think someone (Microsoft?) would take steps to close this operation down! Hard to believe they can operate for moths routing calls through the same phone # with the "Roger Wende" caller ID.

This number calls and calls. I KNOW I have asked to be taken off of their call list when I am able to answer their call. It's funny that I'm on their Microsoft list because I am totally Mac friendly. I don't have anything PC

man named "Rory" saying he's from Microsoft and my computer was sending errors and he wanted access to fix it (Im not dumb) Asked to be put on a do not call list and he just ***g up. I love being able to add numbers to a reject list. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION!

I received a call from this number last week & this week. I believe that the caller had an Indian accent saying he was from Microsoft. Telling me that I had errors on my computer. I told him that I did not have a Microsoft computer & he ***g up.

Said he(believe him to be indian) frm India Is a Microsoft Engineer & that my pc had an "infection" and he wanted to access My pc has to be Scammer/Iden***y thief... I dont have internet..lol..will b contacting Microsoft Security about it..i simply asked What type/name of "infection" was & all Of a sudden he wanted off the phone Telling me his "supervisor" would call n 1 hour..hes already 15 min late...lol

Got a call from 503-784-7696 with the name of Roger Wende. They are microsoft scammers. Don't answer the call. I read the complaints on this number right after they called. Have relative that lives in central IL that did answer a call from these scammers. They say the have received reports of your computer having a virus and get you to let them in your computer and give credit card numbers to them. It has taken weeks for her to get this cleared up with her credit card company, not to mention the fear of what information they were able to steal from her computer. Don't even answer the call, let your answering ma****e answer. Mine is set with the voice message that was already programmed into the answering ma****e, then my personal voice and info are not on the greeting to a caller. Hope this helps anyone that is reading about this number. And it is not the only number they do this with. The calls are coming from another country and they are routed into the US to make it look like the call is coming from our country.

The person who called me on my cell phone spoke with a extreme accent. He was pretending to be a Microsoft Engineer and said I had sent several problems to Microsoft and he was calling to clear these up. When I said, "I believe Microsoft sends fixes for their problems over the internet, he ***g up the phone.

It's not a working number.... SPAM!
