Leave a CommentI received two phone calls like this one was from Steve Martin, 504-535 his number came up registered in new Orleans, and the other call was from a Dennis grey his number is 404-891-0***, and his number was registered in Atlanta Georgia. The funny thing is that they both sound alike, and they both left The exact message Word for Word so if I had any doubt of it being a scam this confirmed it.
said if I did not call back would be a federal offense called from a mobile phone this is a scam did not call back googled no. to see where it came from St. Bernard ,La
Scam!!! A recording wanted me to pay so****ing I don't owe in order not to have to appear in court.
Got a call from mr Martin. A recorded message. Called the number back. They said they were US Treasury. Told them they were not. They said okay and ***g up on me
I called them back and when I s****ed questioning them they ***g up on me .... The irs should disconnect there number.
mr martin called us tooo... called him back & got the run around until they ***g up
this must be a scam, didn't call back once i googled the number and saw it was from a mobile phone...really? US Treasury calling from a mobile line, get real...this has to be a scam.
A recording even if you pick up the phone. Clearly a scam. IRS would not be calling on a mobile from Louisiana. The same name, Mr. Martin, within 5 minutes of another call.
definitely a scam...even left his name, Mr.Martin... IRS does not call you...they send you a nice letter in the mail. this was on 2/4/16
Message was left on my home phone - clearly IRS Scam
