They are calling a number of Ca***ian business owners and pretending to be lawyers trying to collect on behalf of Ad-Ventures Publishing Inc. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and will be sending a copy of the phone call to the California Atorney Generals office to have them investigated for implying they are a legal firm. I will also be filing a complaint with the FCC.

Collection agency for yellowbbook. Keeps calling my business even though they have NO license to collect a debt in my state. Doesn't care about laws concerning debt collectors even after a cease and desist letter and even after they were notified that they had to have a license in order to collect from a debtor in my state, it is the law.
i got a call from 504-837-6995 claiming to be from Experian. is that leagal to lie about who your from?
