same - got call on my cell "Rogers" - I am also from Vancouver, did not answer.

Same deal - said it was just for Rogers customers...did not press 1

I just received the same call and could not even hear the recording on the end of the phone. Is there anything anyone can doa bout this???

recorded message in Spanish.  No idea what it is talking about.

Got the call yes****ay too. Just ignored it. Glad to see someone has told telus about this. I've had 3 calls similar to this from different numbers and everytime I "google" it low and behold it's another one of these ****** things. GRRRRRR.

Same thing!!!  didnt answer the phone... i hate scams.. i think they get the number from business listing phone numbers

This numbers calls and a spanish lady comes on ,but its a ma****e.I called back and it said the number does not work

Just got a call from this number a few minutes ago. First was a male voice saying "This prize is only for Telus customers. Press 1 to collect". I pressed 1, it rang a couple of times and then a woman came on and said so****ing like "S-[so****ing]-S Communications..." at which point I ***g up, as she had a heavy accent and was definitely not****ociated with Telus. Therefore probably a scam operator of some kind.

I JUST received a call from that number a second ago.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a voice message.If what everyone's saying is true...these people need to get a life.  I don't know how they got all our contact numbers but it is SOOOO effin annoying.

Got a call during a meeting on my cell.  Did not answer it.  A coworker of mine received a call from a 505 area code as well yes****ay which made me su****ious when I saw the call coming in.  Calls were made to our company cell phones, we are with Rogers. My fiance said that there is a SCAM alert where companies call cell phones and "warn you" that your car warranty is expiring soon, only to try to hook you for your credit card number to buy their bogus great deal of an extended warranty.  Do not answer an unfamiliar long distance number coming in - if it's important, they will leave a message!

I got the cash register voice + woman speaking in Spanish too. No idea what it means, but I found this site when I searched for it.

Be Careful someone is trint to hack into the phones.

Calls are coming from a land line in New Mexico Did not answer but did reverse search and found out it is coming from New Mexico.

Anyone recieving this call needs to be very careful. Talked to my husband and he said that someone could be tring to hack into your phones.

call came to my cell phone. Recording in spanish s****ed. No one here speaks any foreign language. Called back from house phone to get a non-working number!!! This sounds like a scammer calling.

I just recieved a call from this number on my cell and when I answered I heard a cash regsiter close and then some woman speaking in spanish. I do not speak spanish and my cell number is on the do not call list and also is not listed. I am sick of this nonsence. BUt c****ing my number will do no good cause they sill just s**** calling tha tnumber. I called the number from my house phone and I got a message stating that "the number I dialed is not a working number, please check the number and dial a***n". So who ever is calling from this number has got to be a telemarketer.

SCAM,they wanted my credit card number,after the fact i won a trip using telus company,they telus have been notified and will try to track these *******s down ,very ****ed, and no i did not give my credit card.

Got a missed message from number 505-241-9988.  Looked it up and found this site.  My dauhgter had jsut told me last weekend to watch out because numbers from out of the country are calling and huge charges are then added to the phone bill and phone company cannot take this off.  Glad I did not answer this message.

Got a call on my phone in Vancouver with an automated message saying that I won a prize only for Telus users and asked me to press 1 to claim it. When I pressed 1, the call ended. Anyone has an idea what could that be? Thanks.
