Leave a Comment*** I'm so glad to ignored those callsI've got so many calls from different numbers recentlybt they say same things, which is 'your car warranty has expired'ignore it!
I DON'T EVEN OWN A CAR !!!
Just got an angry call from one of our new vehicle clients who received a call from this number. They are not even smart enough to know there is a time difference in Hawaii. He got the calls at 3:00AM. "Auto Solutions" told him we gave them his number. We never give out clients numbers to anyone...it's a***nst the law...why would we give these knuckleheads our clients numbers when we sell warranties? If you want to buy a warranty, buy it from the dealer who sold you the car...not a fly-by-night tele-marketer. This company is as fishy as they come...
Got a call on my cell phone 2x's from this number, but I was driving and let it go to message. No messages were left, but I was wondering who would call me from this area code? Did a YAHOO search and came up with and OMAR DIX from Hobbs, LAS CRUCES and RUIDOSO New Mexico. Did aCOMCAST search of the same numberand got to your web site. Read some of your responses about Car Warrenties running out and recalled I was getting thes calls on my homephone now they have gone to my cell number. Only one I have given my cell number to recently is the dealer who serviced my Suburban. Wonder if there is a connection?
I also just got a call and missed it, so I googled the number and found this site. There was so****ing on the news about this scam last night!
They keep calling me too, total scam. Not sure how I can get off this list.
I got one while on my way to work about half an hour ago.Glad I ignored it.
I got the call yes****ay on my cell phone, stating that my car warranty has expired; i wanted to know in detail about my "warranty" they've been talking about. A man named Wesley came through the line stating that my warranty file have been closed and asked for my name,VIN # and make of my vehicle; if they know when my warranty expires + my cell number, shouldnt they know my name and vehicle? That struck me as odd. Wesley went on and asked about my mileage which is currently 43,000 (its a 2004). NOTE: The whole time he's (wesley) talking, his phone keeps cutting out and its not mine, I have full bars on my cell phone=weird! He goes on to talk about the service i could choose from. I question his policy and what they cover to my surprise he states " Ma`am, I highly encourage you to chose this plan you ONLY put $488 down but with monthly payments there after of $120 for 12 months; being that your warranty expires at 46,000 miles." CAUGHT!! i obviously questioned his education, policy/entire company. Why?- They said my warranty expired and that my file closed out, they didnt know my name or vehicle but knew my cell phone number, they took my word when i said my car was in excellent shape (which it is) and decided that they'll cover me, they asked about my mileage which is currenty 43,000 miles but later in the coversation told me that my warranty expires at 46,000. If my warranty expires at 46,000 miles and my car is at 43,000 why have they closed my file and state my warranty is already expired. What happened to the extra 3,000 miles? Its a SCAM!!
I got the call at home and then also on my work cell phone. I answered the home call. They asked what type of car and year. Then I said is this American Honda. They didn't respond but I heard them still on the phone. I said my car has a super extended warranty under American Honda and will not expire until 2010 or 112,000 miles. They ***g up.
Didn't recognize the phone number so I did not answer.
I get two or three calls every day from these idiots warning me that my car warranty is about to expire. Already did a year ago. Tried calling this number and got a tape recording that this number has been disconnected or is no longer in service. I surely hope so!!
I got the same message about the expiration of my car warranty, which I do not have. I googled the number and got this site as well as another site called www.userinstinct.net that shows the number belonging to a Crystal Dix 1105 N Ralph Ct, Hobbs, New Mexico.
message regarding expiration of car warranty
Just called my phone. I googled it and found this Web site. How do they get our numbers? And why is there a bunch of similar calls like these that keep calling regarding car warranty?
recently my friends have been getting such number and when i saw it appear on my phone i just let it go to voice mail. It was a voice recording about a car warranty expiring.
recorded messages on cell phone that tells me my "car warranty" is about to expire, so far this is the 4th different phone number. When I asked to speak to some in authority, they (she) ***g up.
