I've received several text messages from this number wanting to "talk about my house."

Texting me, Trying to buy my house that is not for sale

# called me and I did not answer. Did not leave a message.

This same number has called multiple electrical distributors to buy large amounts of 12/2 copper wire. Provides Credit Card info, email address and sends a 3rd party to pick it up. The Credit Card info is stolen. He has gotten away with thousands in stolen wire. I knew who he was and arranged with local PD to have the guy picking up the wire arrested.

It showed up as "Cancer Council" on my display but they did not leave a message.

Unknown caller to my landline. Since I did not recognize the name or area code, I picked up/***g up w/o answering. SOME kind of scam; from what I've seen online it looks like "SAY YES Fake 'charity'" SCAM. They record your voice saying 'yes' to "Are you There?" and then insert it into another script making it look like you agreed to give them $$$. Then they put charges on your PHONE BILL.
