Bad people

Bailey called me and left me a voicemail asking me to call him back on a 800 number so that he can help me sell my car that I had on Craigslist. He did the same exact thing in my voicemail saying "I just called about the car, lets see if they call back" just before he ***g up! What a jack***. These guys must be some scammers. Beware!

How **** funny, Bailey just did the same thing to me and I said to myself, y would he s**** talking to his manager at the end of the call before he ****s up? What a tool. He said the same exact thing you just wrote.

To Pebbles827  -  My voicemail message was, I think, the same guy that called you!  Guys name was Bailey or Daily - I don't know.  Just have to ignore these scam artists.  I don't call them back or even speak with them, just waste of time.  I'm glad I looked this up, was wondering about it.  Now I know I'm not the only one!

Received a call from a guy claiming to be from a vehicle research dept, offering to help us sell our car instead of using Craigslist.  He requested callback on a 1-800 number, however, his phone number and ID came up listed as:  "New Mexico Call" with a ph# 505-715-6734.  I just ignored his call and erased it from my ma****e.  Although I list "no seller calls please" on my ads under craigslist, I still get a number of sellers trying to 'help' sell things for me.  What a nuisance!

Just got a call at 12:37pm EDT on 9/21.  Similar stories as above.

Same here...same call from same number and no one there when I answered.  I too have a 4X4 truck posted on Craigslist for sale...wish these flea bags would just get a life and F*** OFF!

same here. they called 11:00am 09/17/10 and when i answered, they ***g up. wierdos!!!!

Received a call from 505-715-6734 on 9/16/2010 at 1445 hours.  Noone there when I answered.

Got a call from Bailey saying that he was from the vehicle research department with National Auto. Said his manager asked him to call about a car I posted on Craigslist. Gave me an 800 # to call back. He insisted that I call back right away so they can help me get more than my asking price for my car - saying I have it listed below the blue book value. Whatever.He even made it sound like he was talking to his boss right before he ***g up the phone, confirming "Just called about the car, boss. Let's see if she calls back".

Same as your case...with my Travel trailer.  It is a fake!  The very thing Craigslist is so careful to warn all listers about.  They follow the new listings and try to get you to sign ***ue contracts.  My trailer is listed at the appropriate price for year condition and ammenities! They said "it's been listed for a while with no results".  NO, NO and NO!!! I just posted the ad this morning at 7:30 and have already had 2 callers set appointments this evening to view it.  I don't think I am going to have any trouble selling it.

I just got a call from this number 505-715-6734...I have a boat listed for sale on craigslist...but the caller didn't say anything when I answered. Then I called it back since it was a fishy call and I was in the mood to be a P.I. :)  and it rings to dead air. FISHY!!!! I hate fi***

Got a call on my cell from this number and a voicemail left...nothing on the voicemail...

I just got the same call from Quinn, saying he wanted to know if my boat on Craigslist is still avail and if so, he wanted to sell it for me.  It's all voice activated, says he can get my asking price and there are many people he knows that wants it.  I have the boat posted on other sites as well.  The call back number wasn't even close to the number that came up on caller ID.

Got a call from this number. He left me a voicemail saying his name with Quinn and his manager asked him to call me about a car I have for sale on Craigslist. Apparently they have a paid service that will sell my car for my asking price or more! Scam.

This number keeps calling about a Boat I have already soldand removed from Craiglist

I had a boat on Craigslist and they keep calling - and from other numbers, too.  ********s.
