hey i got a call from that number today and they never answered

Chauncey you are correct it is to a fax ma****e.

I have received this call several times at my work for the past couple of days.  It is a scam as it is a very accented man trying to extort money from people that have gotten payday loans online.  They will call and say they are with different agencies the last being Department of Financial Affairs.  They have all of your information and they are wanting you to identify your information by scaring you saying if you do not pay you will be arrested at your job and that they want to hear from your attorney, but the numbers they give are to fax numbers.  The other number used is 347-826-4106.  I have reported this to the local FBI in my state as well as NY, where most of the numbers are originating from.

Got a call from (505) ***-3000 at 6:00 AM on a Sa****ay. The guy could not speak english well. He said he was calling from Women's International and wanted to confirm the state we live in. He was told not to call here and we ***g up on him.

They called, asking for the owner of the business. I said Im sorry hes not in right now may I take a message and they ***g up on me! I called back and got a fax, so I faxed them to remove our # from all their calling lists. We are on the do not call registry so If they continue to call they can face fines in excess of $16k. ****S! Prank calling businesses ridiculous!

The caller left no message

This number has called me 3 times today..Of course I will not answer if I do not recognize the number. I figured it could just go to answering ma****e, but they never leave a message.

Called said he was with UPS said I have a package delivery.  I told him UPS doesn't call, and I ***g up.

Called and said he was Howard Smith (with an obvious fake accent) .  Said he worked at UPS and wanted to know if I'd be home at 11:30 for a package delivery.  I get packages all the time and never received a call.  I asked who the package was from and he replied some sweepstakes and lottery place.  Called back and heard a fax signal.

I had the same experience as Melvin did, except that they called at 2:30 am and then a***n at 8 am.  When we call this number back we either get a message saying call back or nothing at all.  Help us get this person who is doing this.

This number keeps calling where I work.  He demands to know my name every time.  I believe this is the same voice who called a few months ago saying he was from "Dex" and was calling to confirm our ad in the Yellow Pages.  When he asked for my name and date of birth, I ***g up.  Dex had no such "confirmation" call and would never ask for a name or ESPECIALLY a date of birth.

This same number is calling as i type this letter. never leaves a message
