Leave a CommentI too got a message from Blair Williams in holyoke at *** 405 9042. Sounds like a scam to me. That's crazy.
This (I****ume) same woman left a message on my answering ma****e today, saying she saw my resume on yahoo hot jobs and they have an opening. I couldn't make out what the name of the company was, but sounded like bank so****ing. My field id CAD, so this seemed a little off to me that she'd actually read my resume. Also, she said it was Holyoke which is in the 413 area code not *** so this also made me su****ious. After a little research, I've discovered that many other people have also been contacted in a similar fashion. I'm convinced this woman is a scammer.
I got a message on my answering ma****e today from a woman who said her name is Blair Williams, and she was calling about seeing my resume on Yahoo hotjobs. I couldn't understand the name on the company she said it was, sounded like bank so****ing (which is odd because my resume pertains to CAD). She said the company is in Holyoke, Ma. (not far from me), but the area code is Framingham (Holyoke is in 413 area code so I was a little leery of the call). I did call the number but got some odd message so I ***g up. After reading I'm convinced she's a scammer.
just gpt a call....same as above....my guess is that it is a scam...she kept repeating her managers first and last name and when I stated Framingham (where she said the bank was) was too far she informed me there was no need to commute to this job, it can all be done from home..Pretty sad that in this horrible economic time there are scammers out there preying on people trying to look for employment.
A woman named Blair Williams called, saying they found my resume on careerbuilder.com and had a job opening for me. She wanted to come in for an overview meeting with her supervisor. I told them I did not want to waste time going for an interview for a job that didn't exist so I asked if they had any jobs in my field, she said no, not at the time. The job was for insurance sales to elderly people, I am in engineering. She got very quiet when I mentioned sites like this with her number on it, other scams, reporting those other scams to the attorney general, police and FBI and testifying a***nst the people involved in those other scams. Not once did she try to deny that it was a scam. I tried to get more information from her but she ***g up. Subsequent calls went unanswered. Hope this helps.
a lady called from and quoted this number, saying that they're from a bank and found my resume on Monster.com. I couldn't make out long name of the bank, so I google'd the number, and looks like it's not a legitimate number for a company...
