I too have received numerous calls from this number - he says his name is Chris Stewart and he is with Affidavit Resource Center, I think, he talks so fast and not good English at all, he was hard to understand.  But told me that he was giving me a chance to make a loan good before I was sent to the local police department for arrest. I do not have outstanding loans but made no difference to him - he would just talk over my voice very loudly.

calling me and my friends saying I owe them money huge scam don't have anything out there they have a thick India accent but have American names they are rude!

What is their fax number?  I would like to fax them some information of my own!

For collectors of a law firm, these people are some of the rudest.  I spoke to "Carlos Williams" on Friday 1/7/11 after he called me at work, I told him I couldn't discuss any matters at work and told him he could call me after 5pm on my cell phone.  He never told me anything of what he was calling about but I could tell by the background noise and his accent that it was a scam call like I had received before.  I ignored the 53 times he tried calling me on Friday night and he proceeded to call me at work today.  The other girl in the office answered the phone and tried to take a message and "Carlos" became very rude and was yelling at her into the phone to get my manager on the phone or to interrupt my other call.  He ***g up on her and then called right back, I answered the phone and said that I was busy and asked to take a message "Carlos" a***n yelled into the phone and cussed at me to interrupt my call or get the manager on the phone.  I stood my ground and kept saying no to him and he kept saying he was with a law firm and demanded that someone take his call.  He ***g up a***n and called right back.  I answered a***n and he immediately went into his rant about transferring the call, I said may I help you and he asked for me, I said it was me and his tone immediately c****ed and he was so "nice".  I commented on how his tone had c****ed once I answered the phone and he was no longer so rude to the others in my office.  He began ranting at me about not taking his calls and I informed him that his call was being recorded and he had violated many laws and he said he didn't care and that I didn't know the law like he did and that he could do what he wanted, he worked for a law firm.  He put me on hold(covered the phone) and "transferred" me to his manager who then got on the phone and proceeded to rant at me the same way "Carlos" just had.  I told him that I had not heard of the company he was referring to and that I had no idea what he was talking about and he said that I was lying and he knew I was and he was going to call back and tell my manager and get my fired.  I told him that was a***nst the law and he said that I should stop being so scared and just take care of what I owed.  I laughed at him and said I was not scared and that it was a***nst the law for him to talk to my manager about this and he finally said that he would do whatever and ***g up.

These people are calling me and my friends and i don't know who they are.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO OR MONEY!!!   i have pretty much the same story, these guys with heavy accents (or just one guy using different voices) call me at least 15 to 20 times a day demanding i give them my bank info, which of course i will never do. they also threaten lawsuits. i have heard that if you call them out on the bu***hit they will get really ****ed off and s**** swearing at you. A real debt collector will never do that.they call my cell phone over and over a***n if i dont answer, then they call my work and harass the front desk. they probably obtained your information (phone number, address, social security number) from a phishing website. Do not fall for there threats and give them ANY info about yourself. i suggest reporting them to your attorney generals office and trying to ignore them. if you do answer the calls tell them you know its a scam and no matter how many times they call your not going to give them anything. also, monitor your credit report! when they call me i like to **** a really loud whistle into the phone. i have the fax number they wanted me to send all my bank info to and ive just been faxing them really disgusting pictures  :)

One of my employees owes for a internet loan & this guys calls & ties up all of our business lines for hours at a time. He yells, & uses provocative language. Nona of my customers can get through because of his calls.

Good luck, I've reported them to every law enforcement agency.  Filed 2 police reports and actually stood there while the police officer called them back.  They told the officer "f... you" and ***g up on him.  Then he called them back and they told him there isn't anything he can do about it.  The Indiana Attorney General said that they don't think they are in this country, that they are buying the prepaid cell phones and then c****ing the numbers.  They called me 10 times at work yes****ay, one right after the other.  I yelled, I ***g up, I did everything.  They don't care.  Don't fall for it though, it's a scam.  Eddie Rogers is the one who called me and when my sister called them back, she also is a police officer, it was Don Lawson and Eric Holt.  Thick Middle Eastern accents.  I wish I could find them and give them a piece of their own medicine.  Though after what they said to the nice police officer last night, I think they got a piece when he continued to harrass them all night.  hahahahaha!!

someone named david baxter called me from this number and said that they are suing me because i borrowed money from this company but i never have. They also said they are a lawyer as well which is illegal. If i find out who it is i will have them arrested.

This person is calling my job every 5 mins. When i got the phone number this person knew my ssn# and my address.
