They called Southbridge Ma residence tonight. ***g up when phone was answered. Call coming from land line in Wellfleet Ma. Carrier, Conversent Communications. Attorney General's office has been notified.

This company is a KNOWN COLLECTION AGENCY that uses FRAUD and THREATS and OTHER ILLEGAL TACTICS TO SCARE PEOPLE into paying NON-EXISTENT DEBTS/CHARGES. DO NOT ANSWER these calls and REPORT them to the DoNotCall List if you are registered.

SPAM. They interrupted a LONG DISTANCE CALL with a relative via Call Waiting, but ARE NOT HONEST AND LEGITIMATE ENOUGH TO ID THEMSELVES with their number ON CALLER ID. I did NOT answer, and the ringing stopped after two more rings. Research online indicated NUMEROUS HARASSING CALLS to people trying to Collect on FRAUDULENT and NON-EXISTENT debts. We have NO Outstanding bills and any such attempt would be a SCAM. I find it HARD to believe this is the first SPAM report, unless they have recently c****ed their number in order to stay one step ahead of authorities. OTHER NUMBER they use: ****-581-1060.

The SPAM from this number has just s****ed TODAY. They INTERRUPTED a LONG DISTANCE call with a relative. Since I was expecting a call from a DOCTOR from near this area, I clicked over, to let it ring out loud and have the number display on CID. I opted not to answer and they ***g up without putting message on the ma****e - which the DOC would have NEVER done. SO, I highly suspect this is SPAM from a newly 'abandoned' number.
