This company called stating collecting debt for a payday loan company. They had the last 4 digits of my social, the name of my bank, and part of my bank account number. They stated the payday loan co.  had an affidavit a***nst me for breaking Federal Banking laws, collateral check fraud, and check by deception. They told me I would be arrested, and possibly imprisoned or be put on probation unless I settled out of court by paying them immediately with a debt or credit card.They could only advise me the bill was made between sometime during a three month period. They refused to send me anything about the bill in writing. According to the BBB and my state attorney generals office. a company cannot do collection activities without providing a copy of the bill if requested. contact your BBB, your State and Fed Trade comm. The Fed's can't pursue unless they have numerous complaints. And by reporting to these agencies maybe you will protect someone from these snakes!!!
