That prefix is acushnet or new bedford. I have given to these people for years, not a lot but some.  I do get a receipt, that is legit looking but I am not too thrilled that I am getting calls from an hour away when the money is going to the town next door.  I will be paying better attention to this.

solicitation call allegedly raising funds for Nauset Lions Club he identified himself as Mike Young and the pitch did not sound right suspect this may be scam or at least doubt all the money they collect would get to the Lions
