Received call at 6:31pm on 6/1/2009 to my Portland-based cell-phone. No voicemail left for me, either.

Infotech Research Group claiming to be doing a survey for State Finance Committee for the State of Oregon.Caller said my number "just popped up" on a list.Problem: State of Oregon does not allow junk calls to cell phones. My area prefix belong only to cell numbers issued by my carrier, so it's not possible for the state to produce a list with my number on it.Caller initially claimed to be calling for the State of Oregon. I told her the caller ID said Eastern Washington, and to clearly state her company name. Call at 8:15 Pacific Time. I'll be reporting this to Oregon State Attorney General.Caller ID: 509-249-9188
