It was a recording left on voicemail saying they were the IRS and that I was going to be sued. Knew it was a scam. Called the # and the person on the other line said he was the victim, yet he answered the phone saying he was the IRS. Then he said he had my information and was coming after me. He read the info back to me and it was all wrong.
Yeah, robocall with an alleged lawsuit being filed by the IRS. Folks, the IRS doesn't make calls, they send notices of apparent forfeiture via the U.S. Postal Service, then eventually show up at your door if you continue to ignore the repeated mails. I called these ****s back, told them that I was an IRS agent and asked for the case number. Click. Haven't been called by them since.
It was a recording left on the answering ma****e saying they were the IRS and that I was going to be sued. Left the number and encourage me to call them back.
