This is one of the numbers from them that called me. I do have a late account, but that is because of some hard times right now and I sometimes CAN'T make minimum payments for the time being. Since they choose to be so aggressive, when I see a strange number call, I let the phone connect then **** canned air right onto the mouthpiece.
Not only are they using a wide variety of phone numbers, they also have a "Private Number" line that they will use to see if anyone answers - then say nothing and after you **** up, you immediately get a call from one of the numbers on the list.
I received a call from this number- A guy called - Very rude when I asked who this was he gave me the name of Steven. Accused me of hiding when I would not ID myself. (NO CALLER ID NAME) - Would not answer any questions on who he was with. Sounds like middle eastern or indian ? I do not give out any info over the phone when I receive a call. (I am disabled from law enforcement) ID theft is rampant. Companies should be aware of how these people are talking to their customers. No wonder companies are going under.
Now after using several other numbers with different area codes, they've s****ed with this one. They never leave a message. Other people who've taken their calls on the other numbers have identified them as being WaMu--an outfit that I do not have and have never had an account with. As I hold my cell phone very private, the only way they could get it is by random dialing. I do like the suggestions people have made on lists regarding the other phone numbers on fun things to do once you ascertain that you really don't want to talk to them, including blasting them with rock music, speaking in a foreign language, handing the phone to a toddler, or repeating everything they say. I'm thinking about answering and asking: "Do I have your permission to record this call so that I can use the transcript with my complaint to the Federal Trade Commission regarding your company's constant harrassment?"
My payment was 7 days late because my bank *****ed up with the bill pay. I actualy talked to someone who i actually ended up asking him if he understood what bill pay was. I resolved it and it was suppose to be taken care of. I'm still getting the calls and each time they ask "why were you late" i continue to explain that it was a banking error and they keep on calling and keep asking me for a payment. I'm not giving a payment over the phone to some random guy who can't understand what i'm saying. I feel like its some fake call just trying to get my information. I actually made them verify the last charge on the call to check and see if they were actually who they said they were. I understand wamu didn't get the cash - that as my bank's fault and should have been fixed - but seriously to continue to call me. And on top of that, to have someone who customer's can't even understand or trust call you. I understand they are in financial trouble and they are looking for cheap labor, but keep the call centers in the US and speak to the people to determine if someone can understand them before they call.
Ya it's Wamu. I probably have 96 dif numbers from them so far and they call about 7 times every **** day! We should just unite and **** them all
I recieve calls from this number every other hour all day long, they never answer the call when I pick up, so I just **** up the phone when it rings from this number, when pushed to my limit, I can be just as unprofessional.
Yes, it's yet *** ANOTHER *** Washington Mutual number. They use a different area code every day. You get about 8 calls a day from the same number, then the next day they switch to a completely different area code in another random part of the country and repeat the same process. I hate them. I'm late with payments to three different banks right now, and just because of their tactics, I will deliberately settle LAST with WaMu. They're *** EVIL *** and just because they try to bully me seven days a week doesn't make my next bi-monthly paycheck come any faster. What's the point of this harassment?
Very agressive call pattern, upto 12 calls a day. They claim to be WaMu, and speak with a very heavy indian accent. I have an account with WaMu but it's in good standing, these people tell me that I owe money and expect me to make payment over the phone. I stopped answering their calls, they never leave a message.
I keep getting calls from this number and they s**** at 8 am sharp and don't stop until about 9 pm sometimes after that. They never leave a message. If they want to talk to me, they need to leave a message. No way am I going to talk to them while I am at my job...since I am there to work!
The guy called about collecting money. He was weird and dimented. There was definitely so****ing not right about this whole thing. I think he was trying to get my account information.

This is Washington Mutual Card Services. They never leave a message. I have a list of at least 10 different numbers they use, and I'm sure there are more. I normally get between 4-6 calls a day, usually from the number that calls at 8:30 in the AM and throughout the day. When I do answer, the person on the other end sounds middle eastern/indian and are very hard to understand. I ask to speak to a manager or supervisor and they tell me they are busy or not there. I refuse to speak to these individuals.

Received calls from WAMU Credit Card Services from 509-481-9106, 954-377-0257, 602-358-0120 &****-449-0075. My account is up to date, no late pay, may be trying to sell insurance on card or so****ing else
