Leave a CommentI got the same phone call from that number. I don't answer a call when I don't recognize the #. They didn't leave a message though. The next day I got a call from a "private number", I still didn't answer & still no message. If its important, they'll leave a message.
Does anybody else getting calls from this phone number?
I received 4 calls from this number on 6-23-10. 2 times they left a message and 2 time did not. The message said that it was Verizon and that they had "important information about c****es to my service" and listed a number to call (888.440.2940). I tried calling the number several days after receiving the calls and it says that number has been disconnected. Have not heard anything else from Verizon since then so have reason to believe that it was a scam.
