We didn't answer. This number was on the caller id. I will continue to ignore it. I know from experience, that I I don't I will have to repeated say no to a pushy fund-raiser.

This number comes up on my caller ID several times a week, and has been for months. Thanks to this site, I will save myself frustration, and continue to ignore it.

SRI has called me twice since June 27.  Both times I have told them NO!  I don't believe a lobbying group should not have to obey the Do Not Call list, but they say they are acting on behalf of a non-profit so they are also exempt.  I don't know what part of NO they don't understand, I think they just keep calling to wear you down which casts a very poor light on the group they are trying to help!

I got the call.  This goes back a way, but it is the Washington Firefighters group.  There is so****ing shady about them, but not terribly so.  I remember reading so****ing about them in one of the local papers a few years back.
