Leave a CommentI received the same call this morning as Sharon. It was from a bank that I don't even have an account with. Be alert!
Very similar, stated a local bank, card was compromised press a number to get a department etc.Was an automated message and hard to hear. But my husband knew we didn't bank w/that bank so ***g up, so glad he did !! Heard about a friend lives local she got same thing but she went though and gave personal info. Her daughter got wind of it and told her to call the bank, 9 other people had already reported they had gotten same call !! Both my husband & my friend had been called on their CELL PHONES, in Western NY State !!! NEVER give out info over phone UNLESS YOU MADE the CALL !! A BANK WILL NEVER LET YOU KNOW THIS WAY !! Looked up phone # comes from Washington State
I received an automated message that was hard to hear. What I could make out is they were calling from a credit union and my card was compromised. It s****ed to tell me to press a number but I didn't pay attention and just ***g up.
I got the same call. Like above stated, it is from a computer. Says it is Sun so****ing bank (can't understand the computer that well). Says my credit card has been compromised and asks you to press 1 to be transferred to the security department. I did not answer, this was what was left on my voicemail. Definitely a SCAM!!!

Same as Rich above, watch out, its a scam!!!!
This number is a SCAM. A computer tells you that your credit card has had fraudulent activities. Then the computer proceeds to ask you to type in your credit card number, DOB and other confidential info. WATCH OUT.
