caller says she's from United Recovery Services and she asked me to verify my address. She asked why, but said she couldn't reveal that information unless I verified my address. I found that su****ious and just told them I'd call them back.

I got phone calls from this number twice this morning within 1 hour and the second time I answered it. The guy was looking for somebody else, I****umed for collecting debts. I told that I was using my number for over 3 years now and he sounded very surprised. He knew where my number belonged (geographically)  and I told that this was a cell phone number so that was not necessarily true to where I live. He understood and thanked me to tell that he had a wrong/old number.If you have no debt, then maybe better to answer it and tell them they have a wrong number. This usually woks for me to stop getting calls from same numbers.

Lee Kincaide called asking to speak to an employee that was out in the field. When asked by the office manager what the message was in reference to he said it was a business matter.  He called 24 hrs later on the employees day off and said it was business matter and then admitted it was a personal business matter and was told that employees are not allowed to transact personal business on company time and he should not call the business and should contact employee directly. We are on the Do not call list and we must keep our phone lines open as that is one of our business taglines that you reach a live person everytime and not an answering ma****e. Apparently our call logs show that he has called twice since then is this a violation of the do not call list? We have no affiliation to the employee other than as an employer and he interrupting our business. We have spoken to the employee and asked that they take care of whatever issue is that she is being contacted on but we are very upset they keep calling from the same number

It is United Recovery Services of Houston, TX that is using a local area code and NNX exc****e. This was a call on behalf of AMEX. The guy was actually nice and just took notes. Keep in mind that in CA any caller from any credit collection comapny cannot harras you or use foul language. If they do then they can get fined big time. The home office number is 800-326-3446
