There wasn't a phone call but a pushy door to door salesperson came to my door and said I can get a free carpet cleaning. It sounded like a scam to me and there is no way I would let this person inside.

If it's listed in a job adverti*****t those idiots don't even have the guts to tell you it's them, they usually say it's an "office position" or a "customer service representative" job, when it's all BS. If they promise you free carpet cleaning ***G THE***** UP before they can say anything more. If they try calling a***n tell them you have notified the DA that you want them to cease and desist from harassing you, because THAT is what they do. I can't believe these freaking idiots are still in business.
