Leave a CommentClaimed to be from the Federal Legislation, Dept of Consumer Affairs, Business Legislation Division. I called the local FBI office, they said it is a scam and that they acquired my SSN from an online business that sells such information to the highest bidder.
These people call and harassing you for money and claimed that they tried to take money out or you owe for a payday loans . I called my bank and one tried to make any transactions. So they were waiting me to give them my account number , which I did not give up. They claimed they were a lawyer' firm. they would not give me their name of the company. they had the nerve to say I was harassing when I called back to try get them to mail me the papers for the bill. they said they could not do it so I knew it was a scam. The male who called had an Hindu accent named Mark Brown as he so called claimed .the second called he gave the phone to his so called supervisor who did not want to give his name nor the company name. The thing that got me they had my whole social security number I asked how they got it they could not speak. they said that they would have me arrested at work, but I have no job because I am handicap. I am putting a report out for Iden***y theft with the police, because these people have my social security number.
