The scammer sent me a text message stating, “Just send me the contract and I will take care of it this evening.” No name of recipient, mine or other, and that was a red flag. Just like with texts, “Hello” and “Hi” I think the scammer was just trying to open a Channel of Communication. If I had responded by asking What contact?, the channel would have opened for the scammer to step right in! I just responded with, NO THANK YOU! 🤮
