***--these people are such total SCAM artists!!!  I made a donation about 3 yrs ago to the 'TX State Troopers****ociation' and have been getting solicitation calls from 'TX FOP' (FOP = Fraternal Order of Police), and 'Pub Safety Svcs' about 20-25 times/month ever since.  The callers identify themselves as being from various organizations--sometimes public safety-related, sometimes for cancer or unrelated things. I donated before I knew it was a scam--I have asked them not to call me no fewer than 100 times--and they will NOT STOP CALLING!!  Please call the TX Attorney General at 1800-648-9642 to help stop these awful people!!!

The Texas State Troopers****ociation is NOT affiliated with the Department of Public Safety. Very little if any of the money they raise is for State DPS Troopers-they have been operating in a gray area for years.

Called, asked me if I was *my name* I said yes and asked his iden***y, he ***g up. Called back and got message that person was unavailable and the mailbox was full.

Caller said he was calling for fundraiser regarding State Troopers.  I asked him to mail information and I would consider it: however, he wanted my support before he would send information.

Got a call from this number. The caller left no message.
