S****ed as a Craigslist add about a $400 couch. Had a heads up from a friend who had been burned by this individual so I knew this was a spammer from the s****. Led them along for over 10hrs and at the end he had me going to a bitcoin atm to make a deposit before delivery. Even talked on the phone and got the same Texas ID he gives to everyone. Truly a poor human. Phone # used was +1 512-798-4242

Scam Craigslist. Said his phone was t working wife’s. Using wife’s phone. Wanted deposit in bitcoin to hold treadmill sent his photo id and then I looked him up here. I have a photo of his id but can’t post here.

Just got scammed by him for a couch for $350 off Craigslist. Anyone have any idea on how to find him?

This scammer is trying to sell appliances and wants half the money upfront so that he can tell the other buyer that the appliances are sold.

Was selling appliances and sent the same selfie picture. Wanted half the money upfront. Same story as others report. The real Phillip Presson has a profile on Facebook.

Wow. Makes me not want to do any **** deals on craigslist. I checked here and all this came up. Was trying to sell LG washer and dryer and fridge in Sacramento. Claimed his cashapp had issues. A***n, wife wanted half up front due to distance. Almost got me, ole dear Phillip Scammer. I asked if we could instead pick up and check ma****es before moving, he says yes its plugged in. Sure is, ****.

Tried to buy a washer dryer set from him. He kept insisting on him delivering instead of me picking up. Wanted half of the money up front before delivering. Thankfully checked here before sending him any money. He claimed his wife wanted the deposit first. he even texted me from his "wife's phone". He stopped responding when I said I would come pick it up in person and pay him cash instead.

Selling a couch in Colorado, should have googled number after he requested half before delivery. Said his phone was messing up, switch to his "wife's" phone and then back to the original number. Blocked me after I asked when he would be here to deliver. I usually catch scammers, he seemed really genuine. Sent me a picture of his TX CDL DL, obviously probably not the real scammer.

Now trying to sell a Nordictrack treadmill in Houston Craigslist for 400.00. Do not go for it.

He was selling a treadmill on Craigslist messaged on his wife’s phone although he had a different # listed, said he wanted half upfront before delivery, he said he would deliver it. Thankfully found these comments. Smh

Treadmill in San Antonio. As soon as he *****d back from "wife's phone" I decided to google his number. This page, with all its comments, came up.

Responded to Craigslist for a treadmill for sale in San Antonio. Said he could deliver but wanted half up front and half at delivery. Sent me a pic of him and his drivers license with a QR code and sent me to a Circle K to do a bitcoin transaction for half amount. Told him wasn't comfortable doing bitcoin transaction so he asked me to come pick it and gave bogus address.

Same story, $400 sofa, texted from "wife's phone", and said she could help, wanted a $25 delivery fee and half up front, gave a fake address an hour outside of where the listing was posted when we asked if we could drive to see the item before paying

I see there are a lot of numbers that are****ociated with this name but this is the original from the El Paso craigslist ad. Same story though as the rest of the comments with his phone 'acting up' and then using his wife's phone. It is 100% a scam and please don't make the mistake of sending money

Craigslist Portland showed a refrigerator for sale. Called the number and it didn't ring. Got a text from the "wife's phone" saying the original phone was not working. Asked for a picture of the manufacturer sticker and then saw other posts this number is a scam and blocked.

Shocked to see the exact same story. Said his phone was "messing up," so he was texting from his wife's phone. Was OK with me coming by to see it, but then pushed to just deliver it for $20/$25. I agreed, but told him I still may not buy. Once we agreed on a time, he asked for 1/2 payment up front, and offered to "send [his] Texas DL so I can see he's real and legit." Told him no. No response.

Same scam as many other reported... Phillip, Craiglist, Portland, Sole F63, his phone broke, using his wifes phone, will deliver. Very elaborate and a long play for the scam, very convincing until he asked for payment up front.
