No answer. Do Not Call List is BS.
I only answer calls when I know who they are, why? Because 4 of 5 calls I get are from Spamers. Survey people word questions to get the answers they want.
Keep calling but won't leave a message. I don't pick up if I don't know the number!!
On 2/2/2011 at Noon, everyone near a phone call their number 512-757-811 and let see if we can knock their switch out of service. Do it from a free long distance phone, so you do not have to waste a penny on them.
What part of the Do Not Call law do YOU not understand?? You make yourself look like an idiot. If a company is not trying to sell you so****ing and is simply conducting a survey, the Do Not Call law does not apply. When they call you, if you are not interested, simply ask them not to call a***n.
That's a nice bunch of bs....but the point you're missing id that no one wants to be harassed by your ****** company and no one is interested in answering their questions.
What part of do not call don"t you understand?
Amen! I second that. The phone call could have been from anyone.
Repeatedly calling the same number can result in telephone harassment or annoyance charges being filed a***nst you.
Thanks for the help :)
OK folks I have worked for this company for over 9 years and yes it is legitimate research we do political polling, quality of life surveys (for different communities), customer satisfaction surveys, and of course the one everyone is mentioning is called the media audit, you can look it up online at www.themediaaudit.comThe primary company that conducts it is called Higginbotham and****ociates out of Houston. We only call 4pm-9pm M-F, Sat 10am-6pm, and Sunday 1p-9p in every time zone, although legally any call center can call till 10pm, we aren't rude or dumb we know that people get upset if someone calls that late. I will tell everyone a few secrets: 1. Most of these folks are college kids or people that need a second job at night to make ends meet that are paid on how many surveys they get, they get a base pay plus commission. I completely understand if you don't want to do a survey.... secret #2 all you have to do is say "take me off your list please" The please isn't necessary but hey they are all people too and good people at that. We aren't required by law to do so but we take the number out of the sample because we try to take a harassment free approach and honestly we know that calling someone back that is that adamant about not parti****ting isn't going to do the survey. The do not call legislation has nothing to do with market research. The personal questions at the end of a survey are called demographic questions and are only used to chart answers: for example they can look up were F age 45-54 that make between $50 and $60,000 a year in the education field are shopping for groceries, that is of course helpful to businesses to figure out who their core demographic or target market is which of course is very helpful to businesses for advertising, which keeps the doors open for a lot of folks. The address isn't mandatory, we don't send anything but it is a useful statistic to put a dot on the map, how far do people travel to their favorite stores, how far of a reach does a local newscast have, etc. ALL questions are completely optional and even if you refuse the personal ones it does count as an answer. They only report answers in group format. The first name is asked so people like myself (managers and supervisors) can call back and verify whether or not the survey was actually completed with a person at that number, we have to make sure the data we gather is both valid and reliable. I hope all this helps to answer any questions you may have about this number and the company, by the way we have been in business for over 15 years now and I promise your iden***y is safe or we would have been shut down a long time ago. I hope everyone has a beautifully blessed one and a great holiday season :)
I answered and spoke at length with caller. "At length" was a series of short answers to questions about media in the area and which ones use. This survey required about 25 minutes BUT at the close I was asked about where I lived so I refused to provide the information. I was given a number to call (713-626-3033) for further questions I might have about what happens to the information I provided.
I keep getting calls fom above number ...all hours & all days late, early ,Sunday etc... Please have them stop I do not want to buy anything from them if I want to buy so****ing I'm capable of doing so on my own !!! Thank-You
absolute pain in the rear end. calls incessently. now I will be sure to ignore.
I get these calls from these same people over and over... usually once a week to twice a week...Saying it is only a servey... and that they are not trying to sell so****ing... But then s****s asking personal type questions... I say no... I don't answer those kinds of questions... Don't call me anymore... I'm am listed with the: "Do Not Call" list...
pushy obnoxious serial calling. of course busy if called back.
quit calling me 15 times a day... get a life. if I wanted to aid in your "research", I would call you myself.
"YOU" need to relax and re-evaluate your life.
These people called after 9pm and caused my grandmother to fall off her bed with injures. We are now prusuing legal action with our states attorney general as well as a practicing tort attorney for montary dameges. Be aware do***e bags, I'm on a mission to find you guys and will not stop until I personally find and shut you down.
He said it was a research call and asked to speak to the person in the house who had the most recent birthday. (It wasn't me.) He plans to call back.
Just a 30 minute consumer research call.
Keeps calling..caller ID says Consumer Research..I do not answer it!!
As soon as I answered, the man said he wasn't trying to sell me anything. I informed him that we do not accept solicitation calls of any kind and to please remove our number from his list. This was after I noticed 3 calls from the same number in less than 1 hour!
