Got a text from them stating my Wesla card was frozen I don't even have any credit cards! It's a scam be careful

From the look of the dates and time, it seems we all got this message at the same time. If you google Welsa FCU website you will see that they are located in Louisiana, however I believe this is a Texas area code (1 sign of spammer). I called this number from a work number and all lines are not active (2 sign of spammer). DO NOT CALL OR GIVE ANY PERSONAL IDEN***Y INFORMATION. Recommend you check your credit report ASAP! If this spammer has your number, then they would possible have more information.

I received 2 text messages informinh me to call this number to unlock my Wesla FCU debit card, which I do not have, nor have I ever had, an account with them... I went to the Wesla FCU website and there is a disclaimer about this con... They r aware of it and r currently trying to find the people behind it, but warn everyone that they would NEVER contact their members this way... DO NOT RETURN ANY CALLS TO THIS NUMBER, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFO!!!

I and a coworker received a text stating Wesla Federal Credit Union Debit Card Locked. To unlock it please call 512-823-0237. Neither have accounts with Wesla - WHAT THESE PEOPLE THINK WE ARE IDIOTS?

Got a text about my card being locked by Wesla. I don't have a card with Wesla let alone bank with them. Do not answer or call this number. They are phishing!!!!!!
