My mother who is 86 yrs old in age. Received a call from a male who said his name is Emanuel Rollins with the Defraud and Welfare check Division. He also stated that there is a Criminal Complaint being filed a***n st her and for her to call immediately. I the son called the number the person answered i ask for the name of business. He never said he wanted to know my name. I told him I was calling about the call my mom received. He said my mother would have to call and wanted to know case number. I told him she never received a case number and want to investigate if the call is fraudulent. He ***g up.

I received a call from a male, that was using verbal abuse over the phone, and stated that he would issue out an warrant for my arrrest for a old account. The account only had $77.00 total left, when I called Best Bank the CSA rep****ured that they would never arrest anyone or issue out a warrant.

I got the call from a guy stating he was the deputy from the Travis County office of Investigations and I have charges pending for a bad check on a pay day loan. When I asked him questions about the loan and check he got **** and told me he was sending the info in and for me to prepare to be arrested. About 23 minutes later I received a call from a lady saying she was from the Sheriff Office and she had received a call from Mr. Rollins the investigator in Travis County and I needed to call him back to make arrangements for payment or I can turn myself in to avoid being picked up at my home, and she ***g up. This made no sense to me so I called the number back and sure enough it said Harris County Sheriff Office but no one answered the phone. So I found another number for the sheriff office called it and told them what happened they laughed, looked up my name and told me I did not have any warrants they also told me to be aware of this because bill collectors are s****ing to clone numbers for a bigger effect. So please be aware with these calls and do your own research before giving in to them. They are using tactics that are not legal in any state.

Someone from this phone number 512-827-3628 called me at 3:31am left no message. They need to realize the time difference when placing calls. I have no idea who they are but am upset that they woke me up so early.

A guy called me stating he was a deputy with the Office of Investigations with Travis County and I do not live in Travis county. The lady Tina got on the phone and advised me this was for 3 pending theft charges a***nst me from First National Bank for a worthless check. First, when I closed the account, First National would not have closed the account if I had theft by check. When I s****ed giving him the facts about the Fair Debt Collection act they all get f****ered and **** up on me. It's for a payday loan and thats all it is. What deputy or officer says to you, "your problem is you talk too much" Really? Case solved I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM 512-827-3628 REGARDING PENDING FRAUD CASE WITH A FINANCIAL INS***UTION THAT I NEVER HAD AN ACCOUNT.....DIRECTOR REQUESTED PAYMENT BUT DID NOT PROVIDE NAME OF FIRM ONLY WANTED TO TRANSFER ME TO PARALEGAL.
