This St. Anthony Mssg calls all the time. I was called on Sa****ay morning at 8:30 a.m.!!!! The woman said she was a worker for the order of the Franciscans.... I cut her off. She wanted money!! Oh please. HOw rude and totally our of line for a religious organization. Perhaps they are not really affiliated with a church? Just a front for collecting money? I'm with the person above who wants to press legal action. But how?

This number called me. After I asked "Who is this?", there was a ****up. This is apparently the number of St. Anthony Messenger Press. From looking at other web sites, it looks like it is used to harass a large number of people. The business is owned by the Franciscans, specifically "Province of St. John the Baptist of the Order of Friars Minor", in Cincinnati, Ohio. Their website is at httlinksnotallowed://linksnotallowed.franciscan.org/, and their email from that site is either [email protected] or [email protected]. The only "officer" I have been able to identify is Br. Brian P. Maloney, OFM, Director. Perhaps the good Br. Brian might wish to be enlightened regarding the way his monastic order is****ociated with this harassing phone number.

Received my first call today. Based on what I've read I suggest if you have ATT U-verse you can block 20 #'s. That's what I'm going to do.

I am disabled and the phone rings four times and then asked for a message and you get no response. It takes me time to get to the phone and when I get there, no reponse and they do not leave a message and I traveled across the room for nothing. I would not contribute to that organization, period.

I keep getting the same call.  It is from Ohio.   If I see Ohio I do not answer.My husband is goint to call the number and tell them not to call.

Caller did not identify herself but knew my husband's first name and said she was trying to contact "Catholic households." That's certainly not us. Caller ID said "St Anthony." We're also on the do-not-call list.

I got 3 call this morning, the first 2 there was no one there! the last one was a person asking for donations to help them out. I spoke with a woman at St. Anthony Messenger Press, and she confirmed that they are in fact responsible for these calls. She also very rudely told me that being on the do not call registry does not pertain to non-profit organizations. I have filed complaints a***nst these folks everywhere possible, and won't stop.

As everyone else has reported here, we have also received calls from this number, and it was alarming at first because there is a hospital in our city with the same name. Upon resear****g the number, however, I found this information on the internet. The calls are from Cincinnati, Ohio, and I found a listing on-line for Saint Anthony Messenger Press, located at 28 West Liberty Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202-6498. Phone number 800-488-0488. I tried e-mailing them and the e-mail wouldn't go through (of course). I also couldn't reach a person when I called their number.

Caller ID was (513) 214-5622 St Anthony Msg, but caller said their phone number was (800) 488-0488. When I told them I was on national do not call list he said that it didn't apply to non-profits.

Caller ID shows the number and the name of St. Anthony. Left no message on the ma****e. Did not pick up the call as I don't recognize the name or number of the person calling. I am on the do not call list.

The caller id shows that the call is from ST ANTHONY in Cincinnati Ohio. They left no message when my answering ma****e picked up.

this number is of St. Anthonys Religous Publications, They have a company that calls and ask if you want a subscription or ****s up on you.  I called the Chamber of congress in Hamilton Ohio, and they gave me a number to contact, 513 241 5615, the lady that answered said she would contact the call center and ask them to stop calling me.  Hope this helps you all

this number calls several times a day it is marked St. Anthony on the caller id...i never used to answer..then i decided to answer so i could tell them to stop calling..no one is there. When you call the number back it never goes through!! I want them to stop it is beyond annoying!

St. Anthony calls this Lutheran home 4-5 days a week. Never leaves a message. I would like them to stop calling since I am on the DNC list.
