I believe this number is from Macy's. I received the call yes****ay on my cell phone and yes****ay is when I purchased a Macy's gift card online through their website. Even though I didn't use a Macy's credit card and the Macy's gift card I purchased is an e-Gift Card, they still required my mailing address and contact number. I decided not to give my home phone number but instead give my cell phone # (I can always put it on my blocked list and they can't connect to my phone #).
I just got two calls today from this number. The caller left no message. Caller ID says: "Ohio Call." Looked up the number and got same info as John in Oct. 2010, except that the so-called merchant MCCS doesn't exist and isn't licensed. I don't have a Macy's or Bloomingdale's credit card account.
I received a call today from this number questioning a charge that was put on my credit card today for an online purchase at Bloomingdales. They questioned the order because it was shipped Express, and to a different address than the address of the credit card that was used. They wanted to be sure I ordered it, and I DID NOT ! Asked if I knew anyone in a certain city, and I said no. My credit card had been "compromised". They canceled the order and will investigate the person - they after all have the ship to address ! I am totally grateful for this. They advised me to contact my credit card company to make them aware, so I did. I found more charges but at different stores ! I canceled my card and they reissued another. They - Macys/Bloomingdales in this case, are trying to protect us as well as themselves. If someone buys from them with a stolen cc #, they are responsible for getting it back or paid. The credit card protects the owner, and disallows charges that are not legitimate - even if discovered later, so the store is only trying to catch it in advance before they ship it and they lose out. They never asked any personal questions, like cc# or ss # - this was actually a very legitimate call, and you may want to answer next time. Someone may be using your information.
Searched this number and it comes up as Macy's. Got a call from this number and they left a voicemail as I never answer my phone from numbers I don't know. It was Macy's and it was in reference to an online ordered of so****ing I ordered and they sent the item in a different color then ordered.
More info on this number..Shows up on caller ID as "MCCS, INC."MerchantCircle.com -- Mccs Inc of 9111 Duke Blvd, Mason, OH. Phone: 513-398-5221. . Find coupons, blogs, and newsletters in Mason, OH.Looks like it's nothing more than a solicitation.
They're calling me, too...I don't have a MACY'S credit card, never have. In fact, I have NO credit cards. (And don't want any). They s****ed calling about once per day just the other day. They hear my voicemail recording and just **** up. No message left. (I'm****uming it's a computer generated call and when it hears a "computer" answer, leaves no message)And I've had the same phone number for 11 years, so it's not due to me getting a new number.

If it's not FRAUD, it certainly is annoying. I've never owned a Macy's card. Ever. These calls have been coming from three different numbers for the past two months! I picked up today and it was some woman looking for someone I've never heard of.
In Australia we have 1800mumdad for reverse call charges. If that happened to me I would call them back through mumdad nonstop hahahaha
you are dumb..just call the number back and you will see FYI IF YOU ARE PASSED DUE ON ANY CREDIT CARD YOU OWN. VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, THEY ALL CALL YOU ON PASSED DUE ACCNTS..AND GUESS WHAT..THEY PROBABLY KNOW YOUR CELL NUMBER BECAUSE YOU HAVE CALLED IN ON THAT NUMBER. A BUISNESS HAS CALLER ID JUST LIKE A HOME PHONE!!!!
It's Bloomigdales customer service checking on an internet order I placed for a wedding. They just wanted to make sure I was the one who placed the order since it's not being shipped to my own address.
It is not fraud. It really is macy's Credit and Customer Service Call Center. They have different departments including the collections department. So if your Macy's account is past due, they will call you over and over a***n between the hours of 8 am and 9pm. Also Kelly...don't you know that anytime you apply for a credit card or any extension of credit, that is then public record and any of your creditors have access to it. They would only need to do this type of research of you were past due on your account and you were avoiding their calls so you must've been in collections. Do your research first before you s**** screaming Fraud!!!!!!!!

I get a call from the above number about once a month. I'm going to put a block on it...do you know who it is?
This can't be legitimate. I have a Macy's credit card, and they do not have my cell phone number on my account - only my home number (I am 100% certain). I imagine someone is using this number as a s**** (making it look like they're calling from Macy's when they're not) and they're looking to conduct fraud. How do we get these calls to stop?
I get a call 5-8 times a day from this number, i told them to stop calling because they have the wrong number and they always say they will put it in the notes, but non stop my phone is ringing. I've had this number for 5 years so it can't be someone elses. ugh.
