He called and said that I had over paid my third-party vendor. He said I was going to get 25% off on my bill each month for the next 12 months from Duke energy. He didn’t ask for my account number which I did not have. He then gave me an account number which he said was mine and then asked me to read it back. This is when I s****ed to get su****ious. He then asked me to verify my name and the spelling. When I told him he should have this information he said that I had to verify it or I couldn’t have the percentage off. I said that was fine I didn’t need the percentage off.
